Becoming a Teen Titan

 {It's been over a week and we haven't found Miss Knight or Jinx.}

"Have you found anything?" I ask Cyborg looking over at him as he types on his computer.

{Between this and training it's been so boring around here. Raven has me meditating multiple times a day gaining control over my powers. Those hours are the only excitement I've had all week, I'm getting better with my abilities which is good. Just wish I had the opportunity to show my new skills.}

"Nothing yet. How about you?" he asks glancing over at me.

I shake my head.

{We've been on these computers all day. It's so quiet in the conference room when there isn't anyone in here. Robin and Star left a few hours ago to try to track down Jinx. Beast Boy is searching the city seeing if he can find anything about Miss Knight. Raven is meditating on the roof trying calming her energy. While Cyborg and I use the computers digging through the intel he stole from H.I.V.E when he went there undercover.}

"All I'm finding is are old mission reports from when Brother Blood was in charge before we destroyed their base." Cyborg explains getting up from the computer.

I glance over my computer once more and sigh, "I'm not finding anything about me. I only found a few things about Headmistress in here, nothing helpful though. Just the usual founded H.I.V.E blah blah blah, rose to greatness, blah blah blah. Helped create powerful young villains, blah blah blah. Nothing of use."

I switch off my computer and stand up and stretch. I look over at Cyborg as he is stretching also.

{Raven told me about Cyborg's encounter with Brother Blood and the students under him. Being brain controlled and having your designs stolen would definitely make you hate someone. I understand now why he was so upset when he found out that I was tied up with them.}

Cyborg looks up and catches me looking at him, I quickly turn away hoping he won't say anything.

"Everything ok?" he asks stepping towards me.

I nod.

"I can go get Raven for you."

"No, it's ok. I'm alright."

He continues to stand still looking at me.

I take a deep breath, "Do you feel uncomfortable around me now that we found out I was a part of H.I.V.E?"

"Of course not. I mean yes, at first I was shocked and upset but never at you. You didn't have a choice when you were young, Knight gave you to Headmistress. I do not blame you for anything."

"Then why do you act weird around me?"

"Honestly, because I don't want Raven to kill me if I end up doing something to offend you." he nervously laughs as a big drop of sweat appears on his forehead.

{He's scared of Raven?}

I chuckle a little to myself.

"I never would've thought of that being the reason you are so nervous around me. I thought it was because of who I was when I was Shadow."

"I will never judge you for your past, especially since it wasn't who you are now."

{Raven isn't the only one who doesn't tie Shadow's actions to who I am now.}

I hold out my fist to him, "Thank you."

He looks at my fist and smiles, "No problem." he taps my knuckles with his.

"So now what? The others aren't back yet and I can feel that Raven is still meditating."

"Well, we finished our part of the research. So now I guess we can relax till they get back."
