*Shayne*

I had taken an uber down to a bar in downtown Los Angeles that I used to go to fairly often, quite a ways away from the Smosh Office and mine and Courtney's apartment. After ordering a sizeable number of beers, my worries were starting to become over-powered by the alcoholic poison in my body. The memory of Courtney branding me a cheater was still haunting me though, but luckily, those thoughts were soon interrupted.

"How's it going?"

I looked up to see my one and only best friend, Damien.

"What are you doing here, man?" I asked.

"Looking for you, I thought I'd find you in here. You and I used to come here a lot when we got back from New York," Damien reminded me.

I smiled slightly. Damien ran a hand through his hair and sat opposite me. Genuine concern was laced within his eyes.

"Why were you looking for me?"

Damien sighed, "Courtney called me."

I gulped, "So y-you know about our... fight?"

"Yeah, I do," Damien nodded.

"Is she still mad?"

"No Shayne, and she never was. She sounded really upset, and she tried calling you and your parents, as well as me, but no one knew where you were. You've had us all worried sick. Where were you planning on staying anyway?"

"My brother's place."

Damien sighed, "Shayne, look man. Courtney knows you didn't cheat on her."

"She does?"

Damien nodded, "Apparently she talked to Olivia, and now all she wants is to see you, to apologise for what she said."

"Really?"

"Yes really, man. Shayne dude, come on, I'm taking you home, and you and Courtney are gonna sort everything out, and then you're gonna tell Ian about how much of a pain in the ass Jessica has been," Damien exclaimed passionately.

I laughed slightly as Damien shot me a warm smile, "You guys need to go kiss and make up."

I grinned, "You're right. Thanks Damien."

"No problem, let me drive you home."

And so Damien and I set off, back to my apartment. I tried to plan so much out in my head: what I'd say to Courtney and how I'd try to cheer her up being the two main ones, however, a true plan never really formed. Therefore, when Damien dropped me off, I was far less than ready to see my girlfriend.
