Everyone in Smosh was waiting outside Shayne and Courtney's bedroom, anticipating her response, trying to be as silent as possible to let the two of them share the moment. I couldn't wait to see them. Luckily for me, others were just as impatient.
"Can we come in yet? We're dying out here!" Damien asked over-dramatically.
Shayne and Courtney's teary laughs could be heard inside, and Courtney shouted, "Come in, come in!"
We did as she said, and Shayne and Courtney were knelt in front of one another, hugging tightly. They saw us and stood up, holding hands.
"We're engaged!" Courtney screamed.
Everyone roared and bellowed in celebration, pulling them into a hug, and they cried for a long time. I was so, so happy for both of them. They deserved this. Jango then joined in on the hug, and Shayne picked him up.
Everyone stayed for a few hours, drinking and celebrating their engagement, but honestly, it was obvious to see that Shayne and Courtney wanted to be alone right now. They couldn't keep their hands off of each other, and they had started to make out heavily on the couch, ignoring everyone else. When Courtney started to take Shayne's shirt off I realised they'd probably just have sex in front of us. No one wanted to see that, and so I ushered everyone out to give them space. I was so happy for them, two of my best friends getting engaged. Courtney was going to get married, my girl was all grown up.
