"Guys, I'm getting a little worried now, it's almost nine thirty and Shayne and Courtney promised that they'd be here by half eight," I voiced my concerns to my friends.
"I'm sure they're fine, Liv," Noah said casually, sipping beer from a red cup and forcing himself to enjoy it.
"Maybe you should call them, babe?" Sam suggested, wrapping his arm around my shoulders.
I nodded and proceeded to guide my friends out into the garden and I called Courtney, before putting it on speakerphone. She picked up within five rings.
"Hello?" her voice was stifled, as if she was suppressing something.
"Courtney? You okay, you had me worried sick! Why are you and Shayne so late?" I inquired, feeling my friends eyes on me and my phone.
A couple of quiet moans could be heard before Courtney managed, "Shayne and I are coming now."
Everyone silently laughed and I rolled my eyes and grinned, before saying, "Well hurry up."
After hanging up, all of us burst into laughter, and Ian chuckled, "Those two are ridiculous."
Jessica nodded and said with a wink, "I think what Courtney meant was her and Shayne were 'cumming' now."
Everyone laughed loudly at Shayne and Courtney's antics. Sam went off to get the two of us something to drink, and when he returned our group had dispersed, with Noah and Keith joining in on a beer pong tournament.
Ten minutes later, Ian was at his front door, opening it to let whomever had rung the doorbell in. Shayne and Courtney stepped inside, and everyone set their eyes on them. The two of them blushed, and I grinned before approaching them with Sam to say hello.
