After Courtney and I had dropped our luggage off back home, we immediately raced over to Kari's to pick Jango up, not caring about jet lag or anything of the sort.
Our 'son' was far from impressed when he saw us, probably disappointed that we had left him for so long. Courtney and I could only apologise, and Kari laughed on, jokingly claiming that she wanted to keep him.
After thanking Kari, the two of us returned home once more. Our phones blew up with various messages from Smosh members, asking how our honeymoon was and what kind of things we got up to.
Olivia, being Olivia, sent me and Courtney a wide variety of sexually orientated memes, most notably referencing condom commercials. My wife and I blushed deeply but laughed all at the same time.
Our house was as comforting and all-encompassing as ever, and Courtney and I managed to unpack all of our luggage within just a couple of hours, before washing them together and stuffing them into the tumble dryer.
"Thank you, Shayne," Courtney said suddenly, folding a red plaid shirt of hers.
"Thank you for what?" I quizzed, holding her gaze in earnest.
Courtney dropped her shirt on the side and approached me slowly, not breaking eye contact, "For being with me. For marrying me. For caring for me everyday. For taking me on that incredible honeymoon. For everything, Shayne."
I kissed her, not passionately, not wildly, just softly, and I smiled into her lips as I pressed my hips further into hers, hearing a quiet whimper escape from her mouth, "No, Courtney. You never need to thank me. I love you."
She grinned slightly, before kissing me again and inhaling my sweet-smelling cologne, simultaneously melting into my arms. I didn't resist the amassing flurry of blinding blonde hair accumulating upon my face. Instead, I just kissed Courtney's forehead, holding her close to me amidst our clothes as we stood in the laundry room, with Jango quietly lapping up his water.
"I love you, Shayne," Courtney stated sincerely.
I chuckled gently, before whispering as always, "I love you too."
