As the months passed I fell deeper into Courtney's embrace, and the two of us, as well as Jango, were truly becoming inseparable, more so than before.
However, there was always time for me to hang out with my friends, old and new. Currently, I was residing in Damien Haas' apartment. My best buddy and my only friend from my time at 'So Random.' He was the one good thing that came out of my time in New York. He'd stuck with me through thick and thin, and I wanted to repay the favour.
"So buddy, I've got some good news for you," I started, handing Damien a beer.
"Oh yeah? What's that?" he returned.
"Well, Smosh is looking for another guy to fill in at Smosh Games. I think you'd be perfect."
Damien's eyes lit up, "Seriously?"
I smiled and nodded, Damien hugged me.
"When should I go for an audition?" he inquired.
I shook my head, "Ian already loves you. He'd like for you to start on Monday."
Damien froze, "But I've only ever met your coworkers a couple of times."
I nodded again, "True, but they all love you already."
Tears formed in my best friend's eyes, "Thank you so much, Shayne."
I patted his shoulder, "Anytime man. Anytime."
