'Hey.. umm the music video of Lost in Japan drops later today. So, I thought that maybe you wanted to come over and order some take out for dinner or something. Umm.. let me know when you hear this. Okay, bye'  I chuckle as I listen to Shawn's voicemail message for the second time. The poor kid is so nervous.

I walk out of my room as I type a quick response back to my mother. My mother never text me so, I was quite surprised when I woke up and saw she asked me how I was doing. Like I said before, my mom and I have a difficult relationship. I look at the huge ass clock that is hanging in the living room as I walk through it to the kitchen. 1 P.M.. these days off do wonders for my body. I think I have slept more in the past days then I did in the last few months.

Much to my surprise as I walk into the kitchen, Liz is sitting at the breakfast bar while she is looking at something on her phone.
"Don't you have to work today?." She jumps a little in her chair as she clearly didn't hear me come into the kitchen.

"Are you related to a cheetah or something?." For you information, cheetahs are always sneaking up on their prey without making any sound.

"I guess so." I say as I kiss her on the side of her head. "Hi babe."

"Hi Rosie bear. How did you sleep?."

"Very Good. My body is finally get the chance to recover after those hectic weeks. What about you?."

"You need to take better care of yourself, honey."- as if you do that? I want to add but seen that she is still in her pj's and probably just woken up, it's not the best timing for the comment. "I had a fight with Jason. So, I came home last night instead of staying over at his."

"Yes, that was my next question. What happened?."

She sighs loudly, lock her phone and look at me. "Jason is just an ass."

"All men are babe but that isn't enough. Come on tell me." I say as I open the fridge to grab a few ingredients for my smoothie. "Sorry to interrupt you but do you also want one?." I say as I nod to the spinach and the banana.

"I do not understand how you can drink that shit. It's disgusting." A simple 'no' would have also been enough..

"It's healthy." I shrugs my shoulders as I peel the banana open and cut it into pieces. "But tell me what happened." Liz has the tendency to close off completely and not talk about her feelings. So, sometimes she needs that little push to speak up.

"We just had a fight because I saw him texting other girls. I just over reacted."

"Did you read the text messages?." Not that I think that it's normal to snoop through someone else his or her phone but let's be honest girls, who haven't done that before?

"I tried but he immediately pulled the phone out of my hands. That's weird right? If you do not have anything to hide."

"do not assume the worst immediately. Maybe there is a explanation for all this." It's Liz her birthday in two days, the 28th of October. I have a feeling it has something to do with that. I mean, I saw the way the guy looks at her. He is not cheating on her. If he does, I will personally hunt him down to the end of the earth. Speaking of her birthday, I have to call Ali to ask what we are going to give her for her birthday.

"Maybe.."- Liz mumbles underneath her breath as I blend the spinach and the banana together.
Once it's a smooth liquid, I turn of the blender and pour it into a glass.

"Is it with almond milk?." She looks at the glass full disguised. I nod my head 'yes' as I take a sip of the smoothie.

"You are so weird." She says as she grabs her phone as the sound of a new incoming message is heard.
