"TMZ posted photos of us from the New Year's Eve party last night." Shawn says as soon as I walk out of the bathroom with nothing but a little towel on.

"What photos?." I say casually as I brush my hair. Don't be fooled. From the inside I am freaking out about it but I don't want Shawn to know how much I hate it. I knew from the moment I started seeing him, that this was something that we couldn't escape. So, it's not fair towards him to constantly freak out about it. I just have to deal with it like a grown up woman.

"All kinds of pictures..." he says oddly. I look over my shoulder at him and raise my eyebrow.
"They got pictures of us kissing..."

"O really."- Fuck. Stay calm, Rose. "Let me see." I lay my hairbrush down and walk over to the bed. He hands me his phone when I am close enough.

Shawn Mendes and rumored girlfriend get steamy at NYE party

And there it is... The confirmation!
It looks like our favorite Canadian pop star had a happy ending to his 2018. He and his suspected love interests couldn't get enough of each other at a NYE party in Blue Mountain, Ontario last night, were Mendes rented a place to spend NYE with his closest friends and apparently his lover.

A bystander told us that Mendes and the gorgeous 21 year old Rose Williams (who is an intern on his management team — bad boy Mendes, huh)  spend the whole evening holding hands and stealing kisses from each other whenever they could.

Earlier this week, there were pictures taken of the couple when the lovebirds spend a whole day together in down town Toronto at one of the many Christmas markets Toronto has. Neither the pair or his management team has responded yet on the status of the couple's relationship.

But like always, actions speak louder than words. All we can say is: Good job Mendes. Let's hope you can make this one stay.

"Fuckers." I mumble and hand the phone back to him. "How pathetic are you if you spend your time on someone else's life?." I mean, really? Good job Mendes. Let's hope you can make this one stay... that is a low blow. Even for a sloppy gossip site as TMZ.

"Baby..."- he sighs softly and rubs his face. "Don't let them get to you. It's not worth it."

"They are talking shit about you. That last sentence... that was just mean." I sigh in frustration as I walk back and forward in the room.

"I know but that is how the media is unfortunately." Why is he so calm about this? I would have thrown a fit and make my 'fans' rise up against TMZ but that is probably why it's a good idea that I never become famous. I am not made to deal with this type of shit.

"Why do you act like you don't care?."

"It's not that..."- he sits up and reach with his hands towards me. "come here babe."

I take a seat on the side of the bed but Shawn has other plans. He grabs me by my waist and lift me up on his lap. He lean against the headrest of the bed and rest his hands on either of my thighs, that are on both sides of his body.
"Tell me what is going on inside your head."

"They are talking shit about you and you wondering how I am doing?." How can he be so selfless?

"I am used to it but you didn't ask for all of this. That is why I am concerned about you."
