** Slightly sexual context later in the chapter

"Well, It was a last minute thing. She flew in late last night." Shawn explains as he looks at me for help.

"My actual plan was to fly back to New York but yea, I ended up here." I say as I walk over to were everyone is sitting. "I believe that I have never met you two." I smile at the two friends of Shawn, I have seen in pictures of him but never in real life. "I am Rose."

"We know who you are."- the guy says with a large smirk on his face as he looks quickly at Shawn before he looks back to me and shake my waiting hand. "I am Prashan."- o yeah, that was his name. Me being the girl I am, of course already stalked every single one of Shawn's friends online but it's better if I do not mention that. It may sound a little bit creepy "And this is Ian."

Ian. I like that name.

"Nice to meet you guys."

"Do you remember me?." Next to Ian is Vin sitting. How can I ever forget him? He made quite the comment when I first met him.

"Dark, handsome van guy. How can I ever forget you?." You remember? Back in New York? The night that Shawn was nominated for the grammy's? Vin made some umm... unusual comments when I got into the van.

"Handsome?."- he says in a high pitch voice. "Did you hear her call me handsome?." He says to Brian. Everyone burst into a loud laughter.

"Okay, come here. Before I lose you to one of my friends." Shawn jokes as he reaches forward to grab my hand. I roll my eyes playfully as I want to sit down on the armrest of the chair Shawn is sitting in but instead he pulls me to sit down on his lap.

"Well, hello." I say as my face are suddenly only a couple of centimeters away from Shawn his face.

"How was your shower?."

"Cold." We probably look like two weirdos in the way we are smiling at each other.

"You forgot to pay the bills, Mendes?." Matt says. I look over my shoulder at him but only to see that every else is also looking at us with smiles on their faces.

"Kind of." He squeeze my hip as I open my mouth to say something.

"Damn, good to know. So, I shouldn't expect much from you this year."

"Yeah, let's start with the presents." Brian says enthusiastically. "Sorry Rose, I didn't knew you were coming otherwise we would have bought something for you as well."

"O don't worry about it. I don't want anything."

"You are a woman. I have never dated a girl who said she doesn't want anything." Ian? Yeah Ian says.

"Well sweetheart, then you are not dating the wrong type of girls."

"Yes, he is." Matt interferes.

"No, I am not." Ian days defensively.

"Dude..."- and then they are all starting to scream through each other. I created a war.

"You can choose, if you want your presents now or later." Shawn whispers into my ear as he seems totally not surprised by his friends yelling and screaming towards each other.

My head snap to him "presents?."- I repeat to make sure that I have heard him correctly. He nod his head 'yes'. "Shawn... I don't want any more presents from you. You already paid for my plane ticket. That is more than enough." I mean, how much cost a business class seat in a plane? 3.000 dollars or higher. That is a ridiculous amount of money to spend on someone. I feel so uncomfortable when people spend their money on me.
"That wasn't my question. My question was when you want them not if you want them."
