"What do you want to play, babe?." Ali says as she puts down the beer bottles on the coffee table.

"I don't know. Something interactive like truth or dare." I groan loudly. You don't understand. Playing truth or dare with Liz is hell. The girl doesn't know boundaries. She will make me lick someone's foot or twerk on someone's lap. The girl has no chill.

"O sorry. I forgot one beer bottle." Ali says as she is about to turn around to get another one.

"I will get it. I need a drink anyways if we are going to play Liz her stupid games." I walk out of the living room, to the kitchen to get something to drink.

I better get drunk as fast as possible otherwise I am not going to survive this night. I see the different bottles of alcoholic beverages standing on the counter. Jesus... did someone robbed a liquor store?

I grab the bottle of my favourite drink all times: Hendrick's gin. Hendrick's helped me through some of the hardest times in my life. Not that I have any real problems in my life but you know. Girls can be a little dramatic sometimes and I am no different. In fact, I am the leader of the group. Ask my ex-boyfriends well, the single somewhat boyfriend I had.

Fuck. I need a glass to pour my drink in. Liz and Ali thought about everything except for plastic cups. Bad party hosts.

"Okay. Rose... you can do this." I give myself a little pep talk as I lift my leg up on the counter top.

"Is it weird that I find it extremely cute that you cannot reach the top shelf by yourself?." I hear Shawn's voice coming from behind. I look over my shoulder to him while I hit my head hard against the shelf.
"Ouch... for fuck sack." I groan loudly. For a couple of seconds my view blurry.

"Shit. Are you okay?." Shawn's fasten over to me and looks at me with concern in his eyes.

"Yeah... I am alright. I am just clumsy." I chuckle as I try to reach up again to the shelf. I swear, my clumsiness is going to be the death of me one day.

"Let me do it."

"No no. I got it." I mumble and open the little door.

"Let me hold you then."- I feel is hands taking a grip on both sides of my hips "just to be sure. I don't want you to die." He whispers softly like it's some type of secret.

"Good to know you do not want me dead." Give me some peace so that I can sleep peacefully at night knowing he doesn't want me dead "you also want a glass for something other to drink then beer?."

"No, let me start with beer. I do not want to get too drunk tonight." Okay, whatever you want.

"Good because I am going completely white girl wasted tonight. So, you can carry me out."
I grab a glass and close the cupboard door. I place the glass on the counter top next to me and turn around.

"Careful.."- Shawn mumbles as I stumble to turn around to sit on the counter top.
"what makes you think that I will not leave you behind in the club?."

"Because you won't." I look up at him through my lashes as I pull a lock of hair behind my ear.  Shawn would never leave someone he knows behind to defend himself. Especially not when someone is so intoxicated.

"No, you are right."- He whispers as he takes a step closer to me. He is basically standing in between my legs with his hands on either side of my body. "I wouldn't let you behind by yourself." And there is the sexual tension again.

"I know you too well, Mendes."- I whisper back. We act like we are talking about some secrets. I look away from his captive eyes and study his face "you look better than this morning. Did you finally got some sleep?." The bags underneath his eyes are almost gone. A huge difference from yesterday.
