Quality time

As I open the front door, I hear some footsteps behind me. A hand comes from behind me and shut the door close again. I am being spun around and my eyes immediately connect with the big brown ones of the person I started to have some feelings. There... I said it.

"Don't go."- Shawn grabs a hair lock that is hanging in front of my eyes and push it behind my ear. "I shouldn't have said that about me calling those models. It was just me bragging. It was a stupid thing to say. I am sorry."

"Why are you apologizing? You do not have to apologize to me about that?."

"Yes I do. It clearly made you feel uncomfortable. It was just me being cocky. It is not even true." Does that mean that he didn't had sex with those..- okay Rose, do not go there. It is non of your business.

"If you want to go out with your friends, I am not stopping...-"

"That is the thing. I really want to spend my evening with you."

"I am sorry that I got up so quickly. I have no idea why I acted like that." I cannot say that the reason why I got up so quickly was because I was jealous.

"You freaked me out. I thought that you were running away from me again."

"I wasn't running." He raise his eyebrow at me "okay maybe I was. Can we please now go back inside?."

"Yes. Absolutely." I feel a blush creeps on my cheeks as he grab my hand and pull me along with him.
"Why are you blushing."

"I am not blushing."

"Yes you do. It looks cute on you." He says over his shoulder and gives me a wink as he pulls me along with him back to the living room.

"This view is really something else. I could get lost in this view for hours." I say full of wonder as you can see through the big windows the entire skyline of Manhattan sparkling with thousands of lights.

"Yes, it is mesmerizing, isn't it? This is one of the main reasons why I always rent this place when I am staying in New York for longer than 24 hours." He says as he stands beside.

"What are the other reasons?." I say as I look to the right at him.

"There is a gym in the building so, I do not have to go outside to workout and the bed in the master reminds me of my own bed at home."

"Do you ever get homesick?." I am not even away from home for 2 months and I am already missing my family and friends terribly. So, I can only imagine what it must be like for him.

"Yes I do. I miss my people from back home. I miss my family really bad and my friends but luckily I have real friends like Matt and Brian who takes the time from their lives to come and support me when I need them the most. I am really blessed to have them."

"Are you close to your parents and sister?."

"Yes, I am. There is never a day that I do not speak to my parents and now my sister is getting older, we almost talk constantly."

"I cannot wait for the moment Lily grows up a little and that our bond is getting better."- okay, ever since that little accident earlier, we became somewhat closer but still, it's not like we talk everyday. "And what about Matt and Brian? They came all the way over to support you today."

"Yea. I talked to them yesterday about how nervous I was about the release and earlier today, just after I called you, the bell ringed and they stood in front of the door."
