"It's so nice to finally meet the two of you."- Andrew first shakes my mom's hand and then my dad's. "You have raised a wonderful girl."

"Thank you."- my dad looks over to where I am standing and gives me a proud smile. "We are very proud of her."

"I can imagine. She was such a big help the last couple of months. I couldn't have done the work without her." Sheesh... is it complement Rose day, that I haven't heard of? You know by now that I don't really like to be the center of the attention. So, having not only my parents fuss about me but also Andrew, yeah... that's awkward.

"That's the girl we have raised." My mom nods in recognition. Even though, my mother and I don't always see eye to eye, I do respect the way she taught me how to be responsible and to work hard. So, Andrew saying that I have been such a big help, is more the less a complete to them, not so much to me.

The door opens and in walks Shawn, followed by Brian and his masseuse." Sorry that I am late." Shawn usually takes a massage before a show. Just to get his body to relax.

"No need to apologize, son. We understand that you too busy deal with the old folks." My dad is such a tease. After knowing my dad for my entire life, I can recognize that 'naughty' look on his face but Shawn on the other hand cannot and immediately comes to his defense.

"No! No, that's not true."- he rambles as he tries to explain himself. I know how much he wants for my parents to like him. "I..."-

"Babe, relax."- I laugh as I caress his bare upper arm. "He's only teasing you."

"Yeah, Peter."- my mom laughs and shakes her head. "You almost gave him a heart attack." She is in a surprisingly good mood. "We just wanted to wish you good luck." She turns her focus from my dad to Shawn and gives him a sweet smile.

"Thank you." Shawn sighs in relief and opens his arms to give my mom a quick hug. "I really appreciate you guys coming out tonight."

"O don't mention it, honey. We are happy to be here." Whats up with my mother being so sweet lately? I thought that it was just moment but she actually have been 'good' for this entire week. It really starts to freak me out.

"Come here kiddo. Bring it in." My dad and Shawn really created this bond over the past week that Shawn is here. My dad always wanted a son to do 'guys things' with. He and Shawn almost spend every morning in the gym together. I am totally replaced. It's cute though. I am happy that I have found someone who gets along with my dad. "You are going to do amazing."

"Thank you." Shawn gives my dad this weird little 'hug' men always do. "Where is Lily though?." Shawn says as he looks around the room.

Shit! Lily... Anna...

"Shit."- I say loudly, which makes all the heads in the room, turn into my direction. "I was supposed to pick her and Anna up." Around 20 minutes ago. Luckily, we agreed on meet in front of the venue but still... they are not going to be very happy with me.

"Yeah, Lilly told us that she was coming with Anna." I hear my dad say as I walk over to the corner of the dressing room, to my bag. I grab my phone and see that I have 20 missed calls from Anna and 17 from my sister. Yep... they are going to kill me.

"You better can go and get them, bubba." My dad says. He knows Lily. She, just like me, has an intolerance for waiting. So, things can get ugly is I let her wait for too long. Which they probably already are but still...

"Bubba?." Shawn and Brian say at the same time.

I grab my phone and turn around. "Don't tell them anything."- I say to my dad. "Especially not to that one."- I point to Brian, who is sitting on a table, looking around with an amused smile on his face. The fucker. "They can not be trusted."
