I tap my foot impatiently as I am waiting in the line to get my passport checked. For some reason, I always get nervous when my passport and visa has to be checked at customs. They are just so incredibly strict here in America. The good thing is that the flight I took was a domestic flight so, that means that they are a little bit less strict but still, they scare the shit out off me here.

I have stayed a little bit longer in New York than I thought I was going to be there. A week and a half to be more precise. I can tell you that it was one of the most horrible weeks of my life. Next to the whole paparazzi 'accident', I worked around the clock. So, you can imagine how exhausted I am. Andrew did warn me that I worked too much but what else was I supposed to do? Since it was the only thing that stopped me from thinking constantly about what happened. Yesterday, Andrew had enough and arranged a flight for me back to LA. His exact words were: Shawn and I are worried about you. I am forcing the both of you to take some time off and do something together. And as you probably know by now, is Andrew a man of his words. That is how I ended up here. 12 hours later, back in Los Angeles.

The only positive thing about this whole situation is that it made Shawn and I talk. About everything. We promised each other that from this moment on, we are not going to keep secrets from each other anymore. We will see how long that last. I still think that I didn't made the wrong decision. Yes, from the girlfriend point of view, I should have said something to him but in my defense, it was a business matter and not a private one. Well, not directly. I acted like his manager because that is simply my job for the time being. I did what I thought was best for his career. As you can see, this might can cause some problems in the future again but for now, everything is okay. He is picking me up from the airport and I honestly cannot wait to be in his arms again. It doesn't matter how much we fight or do not agree with one another, my love for him doesn't change. That is probably the only thing I am sure about in this relationship.

I feel a soft tap on my shoulder from behind.
"It's your turn." The kind looking woman says and point to the man behind the counter who waves at me.

"Oo thank you." I give her a smile and walk to the customs guy.

"Took you long enough." He says as I hand him my passport.

"Sorry. It was a long week." I say honestly. It's best if I say it before he thinks that I am a junky or something and get a complete body check. I mean, those dark circles under my eyes are not looking really healthy.

"For you and me both." It's only now I see the tiredness in his eyes. It always fascinates me, the things someone's eyes can tell you if you look close enough. It's true when they say that the eyes are the mirrors of the soul. It doesn't matter what your profession is or how much money you have in the bank, everyone is fighting his or hers own battles, that nobody knows anything about. It maybe sounds weird but somehow that gives me strength. It's good to know that not only me struggles with things. It sounds weird but it really helps.

"Have a good stay in LA." The man smiles kindly and hands me back my passport.

"Thank you." I nod and pushes my carry on to the door. I smile as I walk through the baggage claim hall towards the excite. Traveling light has its perks.

As I walk through the door into the arrival hall, the first thing I noticed is that there are a lot of people waiting for their loved ones. Like a lot. I look around if I can spot Shawn but he is nowhere to be found. If this dude stood me up, I am going to kill him. Okay, not kill but kick his ass, definitely.

After 1 minute of looking around like a crazy person, the thoughts of that he indeed forgot about me take over. It was all fun and games but where is this dude?
