Amy jumped out of her car and ran to the house. I got out and followed when I got inside an police officer and a woman in a pants suit were sitting at the table in the kitchen talking to . "what's going on?" Amy asked "Well Ms. Amy, I'm here to collect the deed" the woman said "I told you I wasn't selling until we found Hailey" "well then go find her, I'll stay here and talk with Jacob, but hurry I don't have all day." 'what,she's making Amy sell even if Hailey is missing' I thought 'that's not right.' "No, I told you I wasn't selling until Hailey was found and you can't force me to find my sister just to accommodate you I will take as long as I need to to find my sister" Amy snapped " actually I can, you already took the money I just need the deed so I can have the ranch, I told you when I would be here to get the deed but you said you wouldn't give it to me until you found your sister which is illegal and that is why officer Daniel is here" "WHAT! I you didn't say that" "that does not matter you still have to give me the deed." Amy glared at the woman.
The woman's phone rang and she stood "if you'll excuse me I have to take this I'll just be a minute and well I'm on the phone why don't you go and get the deed" she said smiling at Amy and walking into the living room. Amy sighed and went to the office. "I'm going to the bathroom" I said and walked out of the kitchen. "yes, I have her right where I want her soon we'll have all the oil we need" I heard the woman say on the phone "does she have the deed?" the person on the phone said "yes she is getting it now" "was it as easy as you thought?" "no she keeps trying to postpone it because her sister is missing but Daniel scared her into thinking he was a real officer and they all think I work for the bank" "good, now go get the deed so we can finally get rid of these people" "alright,bye" she said and hung up 'what, she doesn't work for the bank. I have to tell Amy' I ran to the office but Amy wasn't in there, I turned and ran back to the kitchen. Amy was about to sign the paper when I walked in "STOP!!!!" I yelled. They all looked up at me "what is it Ty?" Amy asked "she's lying." the woman looked like she was about to kill me "how dare you boy, accuse me of being a lair" she said "I'm not accusing I know your lying I heard you talking on the phone, you said you don't really work for the bank and that this guy isn't a real cop" "you little" she said under her breath "don't listen to him Amy hes lying, just sign and we'll be gone." Amy looked to me then turned back to the woman "no" "what?!?!" "I said no, I know Ty and he won't lie about this" "how dare you, sign this fucking paper and give the deed so I can be rid of you for ever!" the woman yelled slamming her hand on the table. Jacob stood and walked in between Amy and the woman "you should leave now before I call the police" he said "fine." she said and walked out.
