Ty

When I pulled into the ranch Jacob was just walking out the door. I parked my truck and jumped out. "hey Jacob" I said walking over to him "oh Hello Ty, you ready to get to work?" "yeah" "good cuz we need to get any out door stuff done, like cleaning the paddocks and fixing fences, quickly" "why?" "its supposed to rain most of the day, and I don't know about you but I certainly don't want to work in the rain" he said with a smile "yeah, your right I definitely don't want to work in the rain." Jacob and I headed to the barn to feed the horses before turning them out to the fields. Then we took the ATV out to check the fence line for any damage.

Once we were done with checking the fences. I went to some do "house keeping" in the barn. And Jacob went to help Amy with bills and such. As I was sweeping the hay loft I heard the sound of light rain hitting the roof of the barn. I absolutely love the rain, I feel more at ease when its raining, rain has a sort of calming affect on me. I took a deep breath, taking in the smell of the rain, and let it out feeling my body and mind relax.

Once I finished the loft I went to knocking down cobwebs. Then mucked the stalls. I had been working for a couple hour and the rain started coming down harder and I could hear thunder and see lightning flash in the distance.

After I finished mucking the stalls I started on cleaning the tack. A half hour into cleaning I heard foot steps coming toward the barn. When I looked up to see who it was my heart stopped then began to thump in my chest. Hailey was standing at the entrance of the barn. Completely soaked from the rain. She smiled as I watched her. I got up from the bench I was sitting on and walked over to her. "hey" I said when I stood if front of her "hey" she said back, smiling. "um" I paused nervously. My heart pounded against my chest so hard I thought Hailey could hear it. "why are you out here?" I asked "I honestly don't know" she said with a chuckle "I just felt I should come out here" she finished looking up at me.

She looked absolutely beautiful, I wanted so bad to just pull her into my arm and kiss her, but I restrained myself. Hailey Stepped closer. Instinctively I did to. Now we were only inches apart. As we stared into each others eyes. The overwhelming urge to just hold her close took over me and I fought as hard as I could against it. As if she could see the war that was going on in my mind. Hailey took me hand and placed it on her face. Instantly the war was over. Before I could even register my actions I leaned down and kissed her.  She returned with so mush passion I knew from that day on that we would never be apart. No matter what
