I pulled away and rested my head on his. We just stood there wrapped in each others arm. Our breath intertwined.

When I saw Ty fighting with his emotions I knew he felt the same as I did, and I knew that if I showed him that I still cared that he would show me the same thing. And I was right. The moment I held his hand to my cheek the war was over and the love won. The love for me that he held so close. The love that he was so afraid to show me after our fight. The love we shared for one another had won.

Ty straightened but didn't let go. I looked up into his beautiful, enchanting brown eyes. There I could see all his fear, pain, anger, admiration, and most of all love. I was sure he could see the same thing in my eyes. "you should probably finish your work" I said jokingly "and you should probably go back inside" he said with the same joking tone. "hey doc said I couldn't work but he never said I could watch you work" "you got me there." Ty gave me one more quick kiss before releasing my waist and returning to his seat on the bench. I followed and sat next to him.

As I sat there watching him work a question came to my mind. "hey Ty?" "yeah" "why didn't you come to visit me after I woke up?" Ty hesitated placing the bridal he was cleaning on the floor and looking me in the eye "I was scared" he said, I gave him a puzzled look "I was afraid you were still mad and that if I did visit you would tell me to go." I looked at him not saying a word, I could see the true fear in his eyes. 'Just the thought of loosing me hurts' I thought. I smiled sweetly at him and grabbed his hand. He looked down at our hand then back at me. "I will never tell you to leave ever again" I said squeezing his hand. He smiled back at me "ok but don't get mad when I take it literally" he joked. "you better not" I said punching him in the arm. He looked at me with a sad smile "I missed you" he said "I missed you too." He kissed my cheek then went back to cleaning the bridal.

After a while I got bored and went to the tack room. Grabbing another bridal and a brush, I sat back down next to Ty and began cleaning it. Ty didn't even look up from his work knowing that I would never be fully content just watching him do work. We sat there in silence cleaning. We sat the for a half hour before everything was clean.

Once the tack was clean we headed inside for lunch. The rain hadn't lightened the whole time, in fact it came down harder then before and lightning flashing closer now. Ty and I ran as fast as we could to the house. When we got to the door we were soaked. Ty opened the door and we both entered the house. Amy was standing at the counter when we got in. "Hailey, what were you doing out there?!?!" she asked some what yelling "I went out to keep Ty company" I said "well you shouldn't of gone out there" she said sternly "sure Amy what ever you say, now can you please get a couple towels we're soaked?" "sure but next time don't go out into the rain" any said walking out of the kitchen. She came back a minute later with two towels. She handed one to me and the other to Ty.

"now that you have your towels I need to finish lunch before Granddad gets back" Amy said walking back over to the counter "where did he go?" I asked sitting at the table "we got a call about a horse that was taken from the warehouse that James and Mallory held you in." My heart stopped 'could it maybe be peach?' I thought 'no it can't be shes gone.' "oh well that's good" "yeah I guess, but the woman on the phone said that he isn't in very good shape, she said he is so thin that they don't think James was even gonna sell him."

Thinking about the dream I had last night. I could feel my breathing begin to speed up.  I looked up at Ty, who was standing next to me, trying to hide my panic. It didn't work, I could tell by the look on his face. He pulled a chair out and sat next to me, placing his arm around my shoulder. I leaned into him, feeling the panic I felt only seconds before melt away at his touch.
