Hailey
"I don't know, I just don't feel like talking" I said standing and stomping off to my room. I don't know why Amy's question made me so angry but it did and I still had some fear of hurting someone if I went into an attack.
I went to my room and sat on my bed "why does everyone need to be in my business" I said thinking out loud. I flopped back on my bed staring at the ceiling for a minute. I heard foot steps coming down the hall toward my room then a light knock sounded on my door. "Hailey?" Amy's quiet voice came before the door opened. "I didn't say come in" I said sitting up "I now but I needed to say I'm sorry for pushing you to talk" Amy hung her head and I saw a tear fall to the floor. "I'm just worry about you, I tried so hard to make you feel better and nothing worked I just made ut worse, but the second Ty comes you tell him everything, I'm scared you won't need my anymore" I stood and walked over to Amy she didnt look up at me "Amy." I said in a sweet loving voice "I will always need you." I hugged her, it took a bit but she eventually hugged me back "by the way you sounded like a mom" she chuckled "I know" I pulled away but kept my hands on Amy's shoulders "and I didn't tell Ty everything " I said rolling my eyes "I barely said anything" "really?" Amy asked looked at me confused I nodded smiling " then what happened? What did he do to make you listen?" "Nothing he just talked and told me about how everyone was sooo worried about me and stuff like that then he held me while I cried for a few minutes then we came down stairs." Amy looked at me sternly "you two didn't do anything you shouldnt did you?" I chuckled "of course not I'm not that dumb" I said smiling. Amy smiled then pulled me in for another hug, "I love you so much Hailey" she said squeezing me "I love you too" Amy pulled back and dropped her hand now how about we go back down stairs and see if Granddad back yet?" "Sure" Amy grabbed my hand and we went down stairs.
Papa came home a few hours later with a truck load of feed and hay. "Hey papa" I said walking out onto the front porch "Hey Hailey, its about time you came out of your room" he said walking up the steps and hugging me "yeah, you need me to help unload?" "Nah I'll just have Ty help you go do what ever" "you sure?" "Yeah sweet heart it's not that much" "ok" I said sadly "hey" I turned back and looked at him "don't be upset I just dont need three people, ok?" I nodded then went to head back in "no I need you to say it" "ok" I said depressed "ah ah without an attitude and I need a smile too" I smiled dispite myself "alright papa I understand" "good now go do something" he said shooing me back inside. I rolled my eyes laughing to myself and headed inside.
A few hour later, around 5, Ty came in from the barn. I was in the kitchen washing dishes. "Hey" I said smiling as I finished up the last dish. I dried my hands and walked over to him "hey" he said, he grabbed my waist and pulled me close and kissed me. I smiled when he pulled away, "hey hey hey" Amy said as she walked into the kitchen "there will be none of that in my kitchen" she said walking to the pantry to grab her apron "what ever do you mean dear sister?" I said with a smirk, Amy turned to face me "you know exactly what I mean" "I don't think I do." Amy glared at me and I couldn't help but laugh. "ok, ok I give" "hm" Amy turned and went to cooking. "hey Hailey?" Ty said still holding me by the waist, I looked up at him "yeah?" "you want to go for a walk? get out of the house" "hmmm, sure" "great let me go wash up a bit" he said kissed me again before walking away. I turned back and found Amy staring at me, it was kinda unnerving "what?" she didn't say anything, just stared, "what?! what are you looking at?" Amy smiled "I'm glad you and Ty are finally together" I looked at her confused "what?" "I just love how happy he makes you and you him" I smiled and walked over to her and pulled her into a hug "what's this for?" "do I need a reason to hug my sister?" "I guess not" she hugged me back then went back to cooking. I put my boots on and waited by the door for Ty.
He came out a few minutes later and walked over to where I was standing "you ready?" "yeah" "alright then." Ty opened the door and I walked out into the cool evening and together we walked into the open air of the ranch.
