*New Year's Eve*
Monse's POV:
"You can't be serious, no one's even fighting anymore." I tell Cesar as I hold up two dresses. One that Olivia let me borrow and the other was a gift from Jasmine. "I know but maybe just going to the Santos party would be less... I don't know, stressful?" Cesar says. "Which one do you like better?" I ask him . "I like the red one but I think I like seeing you in your red bra even more." He smirks. "Yup, of course you do." I laugh. "Seriously." With everything that's been happening we've been to stressed to do basically anything. "Come on Diaz, Ruby's gonna be pissed." I put my hands on his chest and he kisses me. Someone knocks on the door and Cesar groans into my neck. "We're kind of busy Oscar." He laughs. He pulls of my shirt and the door swings open. "Dad what the fuck are you doing here!" I scream. Cesar stands in front of me and I put my shirt back on. "Sorry, I can come back later. I just need to talk to you." Is he serious right now? "You kind of ruined the mood already, what do you want?" I clench my fists to stop myself from going off on him. "And what mood was that?" He looks back and forth between us. "Come on dad, you know what I'm talking about." He's not that stupid. Well I guess I should take advantage of the moment and teach my dear old dad a lesson about invading my personal space. "Seriously Monty, two teenagers sharing a room without any adults who care around. What do you think we've been doing this whole time since you kicked me out?" I say with one eyebrow raised. "Monse stop." Cesar mumbles. He stills has some amount of respect for my dad and that's where we're very different people. "Your mom's back in town." He huffs before walking out of the room. "Good, I can finally deal with her." I say before I slam the door as hard as I can. If anyone asked me at this point what my big plan to deal with my mom was I wouldn't have an answer but ever since I found out what she tried to do I've wanted to ruin her life. It probably won't be that dramatic but I do want to scream in her face. "You really like the red better or was that just so you could talk about my bra?" I ask Cesar. I pick up the dresses and look at them again like nothing happened. "Monse we need to talk about what just happened." He says and I just shrug. "Not tonight, it's New Year's Eve we're supposed to celebrate not stress. That's what tomorrow's for." I am not getting into my family drama right now. "If you promise me you're ok then I'll drop it." He says. "I'm fine babe, promise." I really am fine, I'm basically immune to all this stuff now. "I really do like the red better." He kisses my cheek. "I'll be ready in a few minutes." I tell him. I change in the bathroom and when I walk out he licks his lips. "What?" I laugh. "How are you so damn sexy?" He spins me around. "Thank Jasmine she picked out the dresses." He look at me again and his expression changes. "You're forgetting something." He says. For a second I'm confused and then I realize what he's talking about. I pull the chain he gave me out of my pocket. "I was about to put it on." I tell him. "Why'd you take it off in the first place?" He asks. "My hair got stuck on the chain last night." I explain. "You could've put it back on." He points out. "That's what I'm doing right now." I laugh. "Don't take it off again." He sounds so serious. "Cesar, who do you think I am? I'm not going to do what you say just because we're dating." He knows I'm not like all the putas around here who don't have a mind of their own. "I think you're my girlfriend and I don't want any guy coming near you. I want everyone who talks to you to know you have a boyfriend." He says possessively. "Oh so you want to be possessive now?" I ask and he shakes his head. "No, I want to know you're safe and no one's trying get at you. Even when I'm not around I'm around you know?" He explains sweetly. "I won't take it off, but you better make sure all those hoes know you have a girlfriend." I demand jokingly. "I'm always with you trust me, they know." He laughs. "Oh yeah? Then why are girl always checking you out?" I ask. "Look at me bebé I'm irresistible!" He laughs. "Oh sure you are." I say sarcastically. "You saying you don't love all of this?" He tries to hold back a laugh and sound serious. "Nah, I'm in it for your heart." I shrug. "Oh really, that's why you were drooling over me when we first met." He nods his head sarcastically. "Shut up I didn't even like you when we met." I push his shoulder. "Admit it Monse, I'm the total package." He says. "Never." I laugh. "I guess I have no choice." He smirks. "What?" I ask nervously. He puts his hands on my waist, looks me deep in my eyes and then he starts tickling me. "Admit it!" He laughs. "Fine! You're hot!" I say between laughing and gasping for air. "And what else?" He asks. "You're the total package!" I give in because I can barely breathe. "That's what I thought." He smiles. "Great now I need to fix my hair again." I say when I sit up and see myself in the mirror Cesar has hanging on his door. "No, you look perfect." He smiles. "I am so in love you." He laughs.
