⭐️ COVER ⭐️
4/5
Again, I really like this cover! I think the picture of Yoongi you've used it really cool, and I like the effect on it. The font is clear to read and aesthetic, and I think it has a certain softness to it.
⭐️ DESCRIPTION ⭐️
4.5/5
I really like the simplicity of this description because it works so beautifully. I love the way you've mirrored the two characters experiences, and it gives a lot of information about the story without really telling us anything.
⭐️ PLOT ⭐️
4/5
What I liked about this was how different it was from your other works because it was really refreshing to read. I loved the psychodrama aspects of it, and I thought it was gripping and exciting to read. Occasionally some parts of the book became slightly confusing, but overall I thought it was a really interesting book.
⭐️ WRITING ⭐️
4.5/5
I love your style of writing in these books. It's beautiful and poetic, and you have some lines in this book which are beautiful (I especially loved the line about blood being a substitute for tears). I think sometimes you need to focus a little more on the plot to explain fully what is happening, but overall I thought the writing was beautiful.
⭐️ CHARACTERS ⭐️
4/5
Raine was a very interesting character, and I think the way she held onto hope even in the worst situations was very admirable. Hoseok was also a very interesting character because I enjoyed seeing his motives behind his actions.
⭐️ SPECIFIC POINTS ⭐️
The one plot hole that I noticed was how abruptly Raine becomes a slave for Hoseok because I wasn't aware of this change in her life until later on the in the novel. I think potentially the whole parents being killed thing could have been explained more as well just to give some clarity.
⭐️ OVERALL ⭐️
Another lovely book!
