NourhaneauxToumanion thank you for requesting a review - I hope it's useful! I was only able to read up to Chapter 17 because I have quite a hectic schedule - I hope that's okay!
⭐️ COVER ⭐️
4/5
I like the mixture of colours on this cover, and I think the pink font really works with the cover. It looks very sleek and elegant which I really like, and overall I think it gives off a very professional vibe. The subtitle/quote is quite hard to read, but that would be my only critique.
⭐️ DESCRIPTION ⭐️
4/5
This was a really interesting description because I think it sets up the premise of the book really clearly while still building up suspense. Potentially, you could have built up even more suspense by playing around with the past, present, and future bit but that was only a small thing I thought of.
⭐️ PLOT ⭐️
5/5
I really enjoyed reading this story because the plot was fascinating. I was really happy to see how much you explored how Taehyung was affected by being locked up, because sometimes people brush over that aspect of trauma. I also thought that colours were a great addition to the book, and really made the plot very unique.
⭐️ WRITING ⭐️
3.5/5
Occasionally I noticed a few grammatical and spelling errors, but nothing too major. I thought perhaps the later chapters didn't delve enough into the emotions of the characters and felt too dominated by dialogue. Potentially some parts moved a little too fast, like Taehyung being taken home to live with Jin which was just something we had to accept as a reader but never saw anyone in the novel question.
⭐️ CHARACTERS ⭐️
4/5
I thought your portrayal of Taehyung was really interesting because he had lots of layers, and it was really fascinating to see the way he reacted to this new world around him. I also liked seeing the development of Jimin throughout the book, and watching the way he cared for Taehyung.
⭐️ SPECIFIC POINTS ⭐️
I think potentially some chapters do need editing at the start because everything happens very quickly and it can be quite overwhelming as a reader. But once the story got going, I didn't see any major need for editing. I also think that Jimin did show character development so I don't think that's something you need to be concerned about.
⭐️ OVERALL ⭐️
Sorry for not being able to finish the book, but I really liked what I read!
