I can't believe that after all those years, I'd still go back to the place where I cried my heart out the most. That very lonely place where no one is there to comfort me... California.

"Are you excited?" Vera asked.

Our plane just landed in California. I could still feel the anxiety I've felt 3 years ago when my plane landed here. The cold breeze that touched my skin, na kahit gaano kasaya ang paligid ko, sobrang durog pa rin ng puso ko. I don't wanna go back to that era of me where I always cry in the middle of the night, wanting to go back to my home... My real home.

"Nervous..." Sagot ko kay Vera.

"Ah, I missed Los Angeles!" Masayang sabi ni Ezekiel.

"Oh, we should visit our school here!" Aya ni Kyla. "Oh my gosh, highschool memories! The good shit!"

Natawa ako. Dito kami natutong maging independent at magparty... Dito rin natutong mambabae ang mga lalaki kong pinsan. Oh, I can't even remember the amount of girls they've flirted with! May mga umiyak pa nga dahil niloko sila ng mga pinsan ko!

"Remember when Kuya Ezekiel failed tapos nagrepeat siya? Naiwann pa siya dito ng isang taon." Tumawa si Ria.

"Yeah, bully kasi!" Umirap ako.

We've reached our condos. Kung saan kami tumirang magpipinsan noong highschool kami.

"I'm so excited for tomorrow!" Vera squeeked. My girl cousins are here at my unit, the boys went out for a walk.

Napangisi ako. Damn, sobrang kinakabahan ako.

"Where's tita Carol and tito Lawrence?" Ria asked while searching for food in my pantry cabinet.

"Hotel. Nandoon lahat ng guests, titos and titas natin, right?" Kyla asked.

Tumango ako.

"Shane, shake it off! Masyado kang tensyonado..." Ngumiwi si Vera. "You've waited for this, right? Ilang taon kang naghintay and now it's about to happen!"

Ngumisi ako.

Nasaan na kaya siya?

"Can I just... text him?" I played with my phone, handa na talaga akong itext siya...

"You shouldn't communicate with each other for a day before your wedding!" Ngumiwi si Kyla.

"I miss him na..." I pouted.

Jaxx and I weren't even able to kiss our goodbyes to each other before we went to California! Galing si Jaxx sa Vietnam kasi may project ang company nila doon. He has been the CEO of their company for two years already. While I came straight from my house to the airport. Ang dami kasing alam nitong mga pinsan at mga tita ko. Bawal daw kaming magcommunicate ni Jaxx before our wedding. Ang alam ko sa mismong araw lang ng kasal bawal magkita ang bride and groom, e! Bakit kami, isang araw bawal magkita at mag usap? Argh, I miss him already!

"Don't worry. Kasama naman niya sila Kuya!" Ani Ria.

The rest of the day, me and my girl cousins went for a shopping. Marami kaming pinuntahan na boutiques, lalo na iyong mga hindi available sa Philippines, binili na namin dito because it's hard to buy sa online.

I bought so many clothes, shoes and bags from different brands. Argh! I should control myself from spending my money and from buying things I already have! I should be more responsible on handling my own money na... I'm getting married, for pete's sake! Mamaya mag ubos ako ng pera kakabili ng home decorations!
