"b, look!" adore jumped wildly around the bed section of ikea.
they had just moved into their new apartment and bianca thought it would be a good idea to go shopping, even though adore is like a hyperactive puppy when it comes to shopping.
"we should get this!"
"adore, we do not need a new bed, we just need decorations."
"okay... this!"
bianca looked up to see what adore was holding and didn't actually mind it. it was a cute glass shelf, adorned with golden sparkles. the only issue was that it was glass, and adore was the most clumsy person she'd ever met. but she couldn't say no to adore, who had the most excited expression on her face.
"put it in the basket, but be careful!"
when they finally got out of ikea and back home with four big bags, they decided to put together some of the bigger things they bought.
"these instructions don't make any sense!" bianca groaned frustratedly.
"we don't need instructions. see? those two pieces look good together!"
bianca rolled her eyes at adores carefree approach to everything.
"i'm using the instructions. these were expensive enough! i'm not letting them go to waste!"
a few hours later they ended up with a tv cabinet with the drawers upside down and a dvd shelf that didn't look too deformed.
"...party?" adore said uncertainly, with a smile spreading across her face.
"i guess it's alright for now. come on, let's put a movie on."
they settled into each others arms on the sofa, when a big bang could be heard from the corridor.
"sammy! dede! what did you do?" bianca shouted cautiously, running to see the mess.
they were greeted with their new plant on the floor and the two dogs rolling around in the dirt.
"well, there's $7 gone to waste." bianca grumbled, but adore just laughed, picking the dirty dogs up and taking them to the bathroom.
"i'll clean them up, you clean up the mess," adore giggled. "oh and bianca? next time don't buy something breakable."
adore was met with a middle finger from bianca, and she walked into the bathroom with a smile. she wouldn't change this for the world.
