"rooooyyyyyy?" came a tired voice from the bed.
"yeah dan?"
"i'm tiredddd." danny moaned. "can i go back to sleep?"
"nope, we've got a flight to catch!"
danny groaned, and made no effort to crawl out of bed. roy grabbed his hand and tried to pull him, but he stayed firmly planted to the warm covers.
"no, 's cold," he mumbled sleepily.
"come here and i'll give you a hug..."
with that, he dived out of bed and ran to roy, tackling him into a hug and pulling him down on the bed.
"danny!" he said in a warning tone, before grabbing his hands and hauling him out of bed. roy picked him up and carried him to the bathroom.
it was still pitch black outside, 2am was way too early for danny and his bed was calling him, but he was excited for their holiday. he began to brush his teeth, fake pouting to roy who laughed lightly, reaching over to ruffle his hair.
"excited?" roy asked, smiling brightly and danny nodded, looking as impressed as he could in the early morning.
they had completely packed up, and were ready to go to the airport when roy said "do you think the dogs are alright?"
danny smiled and reached for roy's hand. "of course they are. their probably asleep, lucky little shits!" this made roy laugh lightly and lean up against danny's chest.
"i'm so lucky to have you," he mumbled into danny's jumpers, and danny blushed.
"don't get all soppy with me now!"
"i'm not joking though. your the sweetest!"
"come on, let's get going. don't wanna miss our flight!"
they grabbed each others hand and walked out of the door, excited for the journey ahead.
