The meeting was actually pretty interesting. I didn't really know much about the plot of the show, or the people I'd be working with- but everyone I've met so far has been really friendly and informative.

So far I've met Sarah Ritley and Jesse Aimes, both around my age and really making a name for themselves. Sarah is super adorable and friendly, and Jesse, though a year younger than me, looks like he's about 10.

Some of the older cast, David DeFranco and Moira Bonilla, were at the meeting, too- but they had left a little early with a few of the other creative minds.

I've been most interested in Dominic Bell though, the guy Mama G had called out when we'd first got here.

Seeing him sparked something inside of me that I haven't quite been able to shake.

I found out that he's about 4 years older than me. He's cute, but definitely not a guy that'd have a crowd of teeny boppers taping his picture to the inside of their lockers... Basically he's no Zack Efron!

But what he lacks in looks he makes up for in confidence.

"Hey, you guys want to go check out all of the sets?" Sarah asks, walking up to where I still sit with Dominic and Jesse talking about my role as a reoccurring peer in 'Justin's' class. "Todd, the director, said we could go explore the set- there's a lot of cool props!"

Dominic and Jesse excitedly agree, so I follow suit and jump from my chair to follow them. I signal to the Goldskateers that I’m going before we make our way to soundstage C.

"This is where the restaurant that the family owns is mostly going to be filmed," Sarah says as we tread past a bunch of filming equipment until we get onto a long rectangular set of a restaurant. It looks funny only because of the fake windows opening to a view to of a green screen. Other than that, if I didn't know any better I might've actually believed I was in a little family owned restaurant!

Jesse plays with a fake drink dispenser, commenting on how they could've at least made it real before trying to open a menu sitting on the counter, and narrowing his eyes. "The menu doesn't even have anything on it!"

Sarah immediately goes off into a long explanation of how ridiculous it'd be to waste money on small details of a set because they’re never going to be noticed. I see Dominic laugh from across the set, shaking his head in mock disbelief before nonchalantly making his way around a corner, and out of sight.

"-I just feel like installing a soda machine, and scribbling something on a menu is a very little cost!" I hear Jesse cut through Sarah's explanation, only to have her intensify her apparent knowledge for everything involving this show.

I slip out from behind the counter without even being noticed, and quickly make my way around the same corner I'd seen Dominic slip behind just moments ago.

It leads me to a whole other set. A classroom, from the looks of it, rocking the same fake windows leading to green screen that the restaurant down the small hall had. I expect to see Dominic, considering the small size of the set, but I’m surprised when he's nowhere in sight.

"Boo!" a noise coming from behind scares me. I turn around on one foot, and end up facing a teachers desk that I can only assume Dominic had just jumped from beneath.

"You scared me!" I gasp, clutching my chest as I let out a few deep breaths. "What the hell?" I laugh.

Dominic smiles, dramatically dusting off his shoulder with the same confidence I had picked up on earlier despite how corny it looks when he does it.
