I feel like we've been exploring this house forever. How would someone even go about living here?! You could get lost traveling from one side of the house to the other- it's insane!

Insane, yet so freaking amazing.

I think Harper claimed the left side of the house. We learned from a few construction workers scattered about the house making a few of the last minute renovations, that the left side has a beautiful space left unrenovated that'd be great for a test kitchen- and I think that basically sold it for her.

Harlee showed up just as we headed toward a large laundry room that separated the left side of the house from the middle. She immediately claimed the middle section once she learned that Harper wanted the left side. "You know I love to be as close to my seester as possible!" she cooed to both Harper and Mama G, spinning around the high ceilinged living room that we made our way to. "-Plus, I need to make sure I get time to spend with Hayden too! I can't do that from across this big ole' place!" she quickly added.

Harper playfully rolled her eyes at me behind Mama G and Harlee's back, silently asking if I was okay with that before she responded.

I shrugged my shoulders nonchalantly, knowing there'd really be no point in fighting it anyway because Mama G makes the final decision- and she will always give Harlee what she wants.

We explored Harlee's section of the house for a little while longer before ultimately getting lost. We found our way to my section by walking down a long hallway leading to yet another massive laundry room. We only got to see a few rooms before Harlee's phone started ringing off the hook. She informed us that it was Aj, our manager, and that she had to take it.

That leads us to now, standing outside what looks like a master bedroom, at the top of a huge set of stairs while we wait for Harlee to finish her call.

I've never been in such a high ceilinged home before- the giant chandelier hanging from the ceiling is even too high for my eyes to be able to see all of the details. I'm basically standing here in wonder- my blood even tickling my veins imagining that this home could be mine...

"Aj wants me to go meet him to go over some of the pictures from my Elle photoshoot a couple of weeks ago!" Harlee excitedly exclaims as she practically skips out of a smaller room she'd gone into to take the call. "You guys want to come? I'm sure he'll take us out to eat to celebrate afterward!"

Mama G instantly grows excited for Harlee, clapping her hands together for a moment before she pulls her arm to her face to glance at her watch. "We've still got an hour here though!" she quickly says, her face trying to look disappointed. I'm sure everyone can see how little concern she has with that knowing Harlee has got news though. "Do you girls want to come with us? Or stay and look at the house?" she asks, turning to Harper and me.

Wow... Of course Mama G would throw this time out of the window to see a couple of photos that honestly, the whole fricken world is going to see after a few more weeks.

Harper and I both glance at each other, her face growing a little worried as she checks her watch too. "I actually have to leave in a little bit too... I didn't think it'd have taken this long to tour the house, or I would've rescheduled my hair appointment!" she says reluctantly. "I just feel bad, we barely got to see Hayden's side of the house! This is exciting for her too!"

My cheeks grow a little flushed, though Harper's concern for me never fails to make me appreciate her even more. "It's okay," I quickly say. "Believe me, it's okay!"

I know Harper gets frustrated when Harlee blows off spending any time with me- especially now that I broke the sister code and started dating her ex, I guess. She also gets frustrated that Mama G is so far up Harlee's butt sometimes, that we're starting to see her nose poking out of Harlee's throat.

Mama G and Harlee both act as if they're really having a hard time deciding right now. Harper just stands awkwardly between us, waiting for someone to respond.

"Maybe you could call Tyler?" Harper suddenly asks, much to the shock of Mama G, Harlee, and me.  She shoots me a look before turning back to Mama G and Harlee with a sigh. "They're having a baby together, guys... I'm sure he wouldn't mind touring the house where the mother of his child is going to raise his kid."

I don't know what to say right now. The look on both Mama G and Harlee's faces are both so astounded that Harper would even propose that. Mama G clears her throat, glancing at Harlee as if to ask for her help before continuing to speak anyway. "Uhm-... yeah!" she says, trying to cover the awkwardness that just fell over the room with enthusiasm. It really only makes it more awkward. "Yeah! She can go ahead and do that! I think it's a great idea! Great thinking, Harp!" she tries harder.

I notice Mama G shoot a very baffled Harlee a look before Harper approaches me to apologize under her breath.

"We're going to head out though, okay girls?" Mama G says, trying to seem nonchalant as she over-exaggeratedly checks her watch again. "Don't mean to rush out- but the editor of the magazine will only be in L.A. until 11!"

They scramble off without saying anything else, leaving only the echoes from their heels against the stairs behind them as they find the door.

"Ohmigod, I'm so sorry!" Harper says with disgust in her voice as soon as the sound of the door clicking shut reverberates through the room. "They were so gross about that- but I'm sorry, I had to!"

I shake my head, brushing off the embarrassment I felt as I reposition myself, and realign my mind. "It's fine," I tell her assuringly, "I'm not worried about it... it is what it is."

Harper smiles, hugging me tightly before pulling away and telling me she missed me. "It's not the same without your sassy self around here! Tell your family in Pennsylvania stop hogging my Hayden!" she laughs.

I laugh too, rolling my eyes playfully while I shove her. "I'll tell them next time I'm there!" I tease.

A few moments of Harper checking up on me pass, with her covering everything from my 'Pennsylvania trip,' to how I felt currently- all in under 7 minutes. I think I did okay as far as making sure not to mess anything up-considering all of the lies I've had to spin.

"I really do have to go though, love-" she says after concluding that I'm doing okay. She pulls out her phone, assumingly to text her stylist an ETA. "Are you going to call Tyler? Have him come to look around with you, maybe hang out with him for a while after?"

I laugh in my mind, knowing how much time- how much crazy freaking time I'd spent with him the past... 3? 4 days?

"Yeah, I'm sure he'll be here," I tell her assuringly, with a smile I'm sure could convince a fly that a spider was its friend. "He hasn't seen me in forever, he'll probably teleport here once I text him! Go ahead, I'll wait outside."

Harper smiles appreciatively, agreeing and hugging me once more before we walk down the large set of stairs, and out the side door of our huge new house.
