"Sit the fuck back down, T! I have dirt on you that'd end you up in the same God damned spot!" Rob's roar tears through my daze, slowly bringing me back to only to wish I'd fade out again.
Rob stands in front of T, whose seated on the couch with his face twisted up in anger, with a pistol pointed right between his eyes. Evelyn sits beside him, her face twisted up too- though honestly, she's doped the fuck out, and probably unaware that her face is even twisted.
I told her T was no fucking good! She's not supposed to be doing that shit!
"Give me your phone, T!" Rob demands after an intense stare down between them. "Is he tracking you? Why are you even here? Did he fucking send you?!"
Evelyn pipes in before T can even respond, surprising to me only because I'm pretty sure she was in outer space somewhere just a moment ago. "Shuuut the fuck up, Rob! You know I wouldn't let him bring his fucking work phone to fuck me without paying! I'm not fucking stupid!"
Rob glances over to Evelyn, though he keeps his pistol pointed at T.
"Evelyn!" I can't help it when I call it out, the overall disgust I feel knowing she's getting doped up and shacking up with T overcoming me. "What the fuck!"
Everyone turns to me now, assumingly surprised that I'm conscious enough to respond.
Evelyn is the first to speak, her eyes narrowed at me as her face twists up its own disgust. "Don't what the fucking fuck me, Jena!" she snaps, sloppily flailing her arm out towards Rob. "Rob?! Really?!? You're lucky Dane doesn't fucking know about this! Do you have a deathwis-"
Rob cuts Evelyn off wish a hush, focusing his attention on her though he still keeps the pistol aimed at T.
"So he doesn't know?" he asks, moreso to himself. He brushes his free hand through his hair and sighs, relief clearly passing over his face. He's about to go go on again, but T interrupts with a snarky tone and loud voice.
"He will fucking know!" he roars, "I'm not taking the fall when this shit comes out! You know not to fuck with his bitches, Rob! That's on you!"
Rob kicks T. Evelyn yells at him, and then turns to me with both fear and anger in her eyes.
"I'm not either, Jena!! I always take the fall for you! I've told you so many times about Rob when you thought it was funny to fucking fuck with him! And I've told him about you! That's my fucking brother guys, why wouldn't you listen, if anything, to keep me the fuck out of it?!" she screams.
My heart pounds in my chest so hard and painfully that I feel like it could explode.
Rob is quick to turn his pistol toward Ev for only a second. He points it back at T though, letting out a loud demand for everyone to shut up because he needs to think.
"Evelyn," he says after a few moments, his voice intended to be calm though I can still sense the urgency and frustration behind it. "You're not giving up on Jena over some stupid shit- not over T. Would she do that shit to you?"
Evelyn's eyes pierce me before swelling up with tears. "She's so stupid!" she cries to him through gritted teeth. Her eyes don't leave me though. "She always does the stupidest shit!"
Rob immediately agrees with her. "I know she is, Ev." he says calmly, "I am too.. okay? We both should've listened to you- but we didn't, okay? Life doesn't always work out how you want it to, you know that. I have a plan so that none of us get caught though... can you help me? Help me help us?"
Evelyn's eyes still don't leave me, but after a few moments she slowly begins to nod her head.
"You stupid fucking cunt!" T yells as she does, "Your brother will fucking kill you, too! Don't trust this asshole! Dane will find out!"
"Shut the fuck up, T! Don't make me tell you again!" Rob roars as he swings his hand down and pistol whips T into submission.
Rob turns to me now, his eyes ablaze with anger but somehow behind it all- sincerity.
"You're not going to like it, but it's all I can do for you." he says, "I told you this shit was a dangerous game, but you still wanted to play."
