"Can my priend come with us?" Jimin asked, looking up at Jin with his puppy eyes.

Jin looked at Jimin with concern. He didn't understand why his son was acting in that manner. It was very unusual for Jimin to cling to strangers or even whine about being around strangers. Not that he allowed him the opportunity often anyway.

"Jimin, baby, go inside and go start getting ready for a bath. Papa will see if your friend wants to come or if he is busy, okay?" Jin told Jimin as he wanted to have a conversation with this friend of his three-year-old to understand why his son is so suddenly attached.

"Okay, papa." Jimin ran off into the house.

Jin made sure Jimin was out of sight before calling towards the guy in his backyard, "Hey, you! Can I talk to you for a second?"

"Sure!" The guy came towards Jin. "I am Jungkook, by the way, Jeon Jungkook." He introduces himself to Jin extending his hand for a handshake.

"Nice to meet you, Jeon Jungkook. I am Kim Seokjin, and see you have met my son Kim Jimin." Jin said, not accepting Jungkook's handshake. He wasn't comfortable touching others.

Jungkook withdrew his hand after he realizes Jin wasn't going to take it. "Yeah, he often comes out here in the mornings, and I usually talk with him from over the fence. He is a brilliant kid and adorable too." Jungkook smiled as he thought of the little one.

Jin, on the other hand, didn't care, "Oh, I see. I wasn't aware Jimin was out in the mornings. I think I have been sleeping in too late. He knows he is not allowed outside without me." Jin said out loud more to himself than to Jungkook.

"There is no issue though, I mean your house is gated, and the backyard is private. He should be fine. I don't mind watching him from across my home. I am usually up and out anyway, walking my dog."

"Uh, yeah, no. There is an issue. I don't know you, and I am not comfortable with my kid being outside talking to some stranger. He doesn't need a babysitter either, but thanks for offering. I will make sure he doesn't bother you anymore." Jin snapped at Jungkook.

Jungkook was taken back by Jin's attitude; it was one he wasn't expecting. Was this the norm for overly handsome men, he thought to himself. He was only trying to be friendly; why was the man before him so rude.

"Wow, umm...I don't know what to say. I mean, I might be a stranger to you, but I am also your neighbor. I don't mean any harm. I never implied you needed a babysitter, just stated I could keep an eye on your son when he is out here in the mornings." Jin rolled his eyes at Jungkook. Did Jungkook not get it? He did not want his son hanging around anyone.

"That's fine. Being my neighbor still makes you a stranger, one I don't know nor have any interest in knowing. I don't need you "keeping an eye" on my kid. He is good. I am good. We are good. Thanks for the offer, though."

"Woah! What's your problem? I was being nice, is that a problem?" Jungkook asked, not understanding why Jin was so defensive. What the heck.

"That's the problem, and you are too nice to someone you don't even know. You are out here playing with a kid in the morning, tell me something are you a pedophile? Do you enjoy watching little boys? Does it get you off?" Jin knew Jungkook had to have a form of motives; people aren't just nice. They don't do nice things without wanting something in return. Who knows what plans he had. Jin did not care to find out; he just wanted to make sure he set things straight right now, something he should've done with Namjoon, but never did.

"You have serious issues, man. You are accusing me, and that's not cool. I never knew being mannerly and nice was a bad thing. I thought that was the norm in our neighborhood, but I guess not. Did you call me a pedophile? You don't even know me. Wow, and Jimin thinks he has the best father in the whole wide world. I am guessing he didn't grow up to meet you yet. Sorry for being intrusive. I am guessing you are going to tell Jimin I don't want to come with him?"

Jin looked at the guy before him feeling annoyed. Why wasn't he getting angry and leaving?

"I have no interest in knowing you, so it's whatever. He does have the best father. Your apology is not needed. And what does it matter what I tell him, it's not like you want to anyway? Walk your dog. Do what other neighborly things you do around here since you are so 'friendly and nice.' " Jin said, turning away to go back into his house.

"But what if I do want to go? What if I want to spend the day with you and Jimin?" Jungkook didn't know what he was saying until he said. Was he crazy? Why would he want to hang out with someone who called him a Pedophile? Oh, he knew why. Jimin said his other dad died, which made him sad cause papa doesn't talk about it. He felt connected to the kid as crazy as it might seem. Something about Kim Jimin had him drawn towards him, and Kim Seokjin beauty pulled him in even more. He had an attitude problem, but his beauty and angelic features made that seem like it was nothing.
