After the mess with uno calmed down everyone stayed inside for the party games Alfred seemed desperate to get to and that's what worried me most.

"Chica you should probably sit this out," Antonio warned.

"It can't be that bad."

"Yes it can," Alfred laughed fro, behind me and clapped me on the back again, "that's what makes it fun," he said leaning in closer to my ear. I jumped and Antonio pushed him away and pulled me in closer to him.

Francis wrapped an arm around Alfred and ruffled his hair.

"Stop teasing our girl," he scolded gently and clapped Alfred on the back as he walked away.

Alfred glared at him but let it go for now.

"So what kind of games do you usually play?" I asked, Antonio was still trying to convince me to stay in my room.

"Dude, at least let me watch until things get weird," I asked and pushed by him.

"That's the spirit," Ivan cheered me on in his thick Russian accent and Antonio dead-panned in defeat.

I sat in Francis's lap and he looked surprised for a Monet but relaxed and just went with it.

He ran his fingers through my hair and whispered a warning in my ear, "trust me amour, zhese games are not for zhe faint of 'eart."

"Faint of heart?" I asked loudly sounding offended on purpose, "I killed a man two weeks ago," I snapped and the others looked mildly interested.

"The little human kills," Ivan purred.

"When I have to," I said more seriously.

"And why did you have to?" He interrogated.

"It was kill or be killed," I answered firmly, I wasn't entirely comfortable talking about these things, at least not so soon afterward.

He smiled, a childlike innocent smile but his eyes were haunted, he was broken unintentionally cruel man and I could tell just by being across the room from him.

Francis tightened his arms around me and I choked, he eased up immediately. He apologized and Antonio came to sit on the other side of me, sandwiching me in-between the two of them.

Ludwig, who is only just taken notice to the entire time he must've been here, "I'll make vhat ve need because vheres no vay I'm playing," he muttered.

"What are we playing?" I asked Francis.

"What we always play," Alfred smiled innocently.

"It's called The King's Game," Natalia explained, "it's more popular in Japan."

The Japanese man who I'd been religiously avoiding due to the fact he was twins with Kuro, Kiku, blushed and admitted: "I wish I never tord you this game."

He even sounded like Kuro.

At this point, I'd rather play the game because everything reminded me of the drama in my life and I wasn't going over that mentally again.

"So for the newbies," Mathias stood up to explain, "each player draws a chopstick from the cup, they will have numbers but one will have a king's crown, the king can order different numbers to do whatever they Please not knowing who has what number, the only rule of this game is the kings orders or absolute," he finished and grinned mischievously.

Based on the overwhelming number playing the game everyone split into groups of thirteen, twelve players and one king.

Francis, Antonio and I stayed together but the others were chosen randomly by Alfred.
