"It's finally Corona's fall festival week! We've got to go celebrate!" Your friend, Kara told you.

"I'd really rather stay inside, it's really cold outside."

"Wear your sweater," she said throwing it at you.

"You really aren't giving me a choice are you?" she smiled at you and shook her head. You changed into a comfortable outfit for yourself because you knew that Kara was going to be dragging you all the way through the maze.

"Come on! The princess might be there...and-"

"No. Don't finish that sentence." Kara had been bothering about your one crush, Varian. You never knew why but you always supposed that there was a reason.

"(y/n), you're blushing."

"No, I'm not."

"You are, and let's get going before all of the apples are gone." Kara and you laced your boots and then ran out to the door. You jumped all of the stairs of your front porch and followed Kara all the way to the farm near Old Corona. "There it is," she said stunned. You hadn't attended a fall festival since forever.

"Hello, all of you!" a joyful voice spoke from a stage. "This is my first fall festival and I'm so excited to celebrate with all of you. We have bobbing-for-apples, a corn maze, and my personal favourite, a painting area. I don't want to take up too much of your time so get out there and have fun!"

"Blondie, I thought I was the master of ceremonies."

"And you are. It's just..."

"Raps thought you'd bring out a fog machine that would malfunction and set the corn maze on fire."

"Hey, you three." Kara went up to them.

"What are you doing? You can't just talk to them!" You muttered to her. "Um, hi."

"This is (y/n), and-"

"I'm a big fan."

"Yay, you talked!"

"I'd love to celebrate the festivities with you!" Rapunzel said. "First activity is the corn maze."

"This is really exciting!" You said and then you almost passed out.

"Is that a normal reaction?" Cassandra asked Kara.

"Define normal," she answered.

The five of you walked into the corn maze unaware of the others lurking there. Don't worry you weren't completely obvious to the fact that there were more people in the corn maze. It was a festival for the whole kingdom. "The maze ends at the middle but it's going to be hard to find a way to the middle with all of these corn stalks," Eugene told the group.

"Yes, Captain Obvious," Cassandra said.

"This is going to be fun," Rapunzel said.

"See? Fun." Kara insisted to you. You smiled, you were just happy to be part of their group. I mean a whole day with Rapunzel, Eugene, and Cassandra, you didn't want it to end.

The corn maze twisted and turned, and it went in some sort of confusing spiral. You were trying to remember. Left. Right. Right. Left. Right. Left. Straight. It was all a blur after the fifth turn. Rapunzel and Eugene persisted on.

"I heard there's candy in the middle," Eugene said to lighten spirits. They had been walking for quite a while and there seemed to be no end to the long corn maze. You saw a hay-bale in the corn maze and you took your opportunity to sit on it. Your legs felt weak and you were out of breath.
