AVALOR?" you asked.

"It's a kingdom and they have their own way of celebrating the holidays and I thought that this would be the best time to go and meet the royals there," Rapunzel said. She had been waiting to meet Elena and she wanted to meet her during an exciting time of the year. The holidays were a time to reconnect with friends and family, and it would certainly make a great time to meet new friends as well.

"We were going to leave this afternoon if you guys want to come along with us," Eugene told you.

"Um, maybe we'll sit this one out," you said looking at Varian.

Rapunzel had a sly look of her face, "Are you sure? I mean princess Elena has a daughter and she's your age."

"Okay, we'll go," you said. You were worried that you were going to bored with a bunch of royals meeting each other. There would be treaties and documents and probably long periods of conversation you could add your input in.

"Hey, I didn't say that I wanted to go," Varian said, looking up from the map that he had in his hands. He was trying to find out how far Avalor was from Corona."

"Did I also mention that she's an inventor?" Rapunzel said, taking the map back because she needed it herself.

"That's even better," you told her.

    "Really?" Varian asked.

"Okay, don't leave me out of this. We can still be friends right?" you said jokingly.

Varian got worried, "Yeah, absolutely I wasn't going to stop being friends with you! I just thought that it was so interesting to hear about someone our age in Avalor."

"Well we leave twelve 'o clock, so just make sure that you're all packed and ready," Rapunzel said and you looked at the time. It was quarter to eleven so you ran back home to start packing. You got a small shoulder bag and a larger backpack to carry other things in. You wondered if both bags were a little bit too much so you took the small shoulder back and packed it inside the backpack. You packed a couple of outfits and you got on some high boots.

"I'm Ready!" you said when you met everyone back at the docks.

"Great timing because we were just about to get on the boat," Rapunzel said. Some of the royal guards brought some things of hers onto the boat and she walked up the ramp. You followed her and watched as you began to sail away from the kingdom.

The boat trip was quite long and you were wondering if it was ever going to end. The view of the sea was incredible, you had never gone farther Corona and Old Corona. The part where the sky met the sea reminded you of Varian's eyes and the journey wasn't that bad since he was there too. You spent a couple of days sketching the sea and things that reminded you of home.

"Isn't this amazing!" you said as you got closer and closer to Avalor. The seas near Avalor where a brilliant blue and the sun as it set down was a vibrant orange and red. The skies were coated with clouds against its exotic hues.

"Wait until you see the palace, I heard that their gardens are wonderful," Rapunzel told you as the guards help the ship dock. You saw two carriages come up to the docks and a brown-haired girl with a red dress with you assumed was the princess.

"Princess Rapunzel! It's is so wondeful to welcome you to my kingdom!" she said and gave Rapunzel a hug. "You must be Eugene!" Elena said as she shook his hand. "And you're?"

     "(Y/n)." you introduced.

     "Varian."

"It's nice to meet both of you." then Elena escorted everyone to the two carriages that you divided evenly in. Elena had brought her friend Naomi to meet everyone as well so she sat in a carriage with you and Varian.
