BY the way you were feeling right now you guessed that you were nervous. You were going on a cruise ship, and it was exciting yet also nerve-racking. You twiddled your thumbs a little bit in anxiety as you waited to be boarding the ship. You looked over at the dozens of hundreds of other people. In the crowd, they all seemed to have a unity to them. You wondered if they were feeling what you were feeling. The sun caught a flash of a blue streak and you were curious to know who that was in the part of the crowd.

There were hundreds of people boarding the ship so your chances of finding them was very slim. It was a little bit claustrophobic to be between so many different people in the boarding process. There were other gates, but still everything seemed so new and so different. You took a step onto the boat and you as you kept walking aboard you felt more and more chilled. Maybe being on the sea would do that, to some people are least. Which made you worried that you'd get seasick, so you pushed that thought from your mind.

To be here it was exciting at all, but also totally scary. There were so many people you could end up meeting. You dropped your stuff off at your room and immediately went out to explore the rest of the ship. There certainly weren't a lot of people there, they must have been still unpacking or tired. In your own head, you visited each floor. There was something new and exciting in each place. You were just about to turn down another hallway when you bumped into something.

When you looked up you saw that it was a person with a familiar colour of blue in his hair. He was quick to say something, "Sorry to bump into you. I was just walking around."

"Same, I'm sorry too and I was also just walking around." You said, wishing that you could have given him a better response. He looked familiar though and that hair streak, it couldn't have been the same one from earlier today. There must have been a reason why you were able to notice him in that large crowd. "Something seems familiar about you." You told him.

"You too, I mean I seem like I know you too." You didn't know what it was, it wasn't a soulmate thing right, no it was just the fabulous guide of destiny. Or was destiny, soulmates, you stood there in thought. "Hello?"

"Oh sorry, I was just thinking. Do you want to walk around together?" You realized how awkward that sounded so you tried to fix it, "I mean, we're both walking around alone, so why not just go..." You wanted to stop while you were trying.

"Sure." He laughed. You looked at him with a smile. At least you had made one friend, and it seemed like you had the whole boat to yourself. That is besides a couple people that you walked by. You met up with a bunch of people that Varian knew and you quickly all became friends. They were really nice people.

"I'm Eugene." The man with chocolatey hair and soft eyes to match said.

"It's so nice to meet you, I'm Rapunzel." She said. Her hair was short and brown, a little bit wavy too. She also had these large green eyes that were very welcoming.

"Cass." The one with dark hair and cloudy eyes said. You nodded as she shook your hand. You noticed that she was strong and you let go pretty quickly.

"This is Varian, I'm surprised he didn't introduce himself yet." Rapunzel said. Commenting on the fact that he seemed a little bit off.

"It's great to meet you all. I just came with an older cousin, we don't get along the best, but we decided to travel together. Oh wait," You realized you hadn't told them your name. "I'm (Y/n)." You told them.

"We were going to go to this huge theatre that they have on board tonight. After dinner, of course, everything's in the price for coming here so it's not like bringing an extra person will be much different." Rapunzel said, explaining their entire itinerary to you. You smiled at her enthusiasm.

"That sounds great, I'll meet you guys back here at 5." You walked back to your room and you waited until it was around 4, when you decided to change.

"Where are you going?" Your cousin asked. You were dressed a little bit nicer than you usually dressed and it was clear to your cousin.

Putting your best shoes on, that is your only shoes, besides the pool shoes, you answered, "Just with some friends. If I'm not back in five hours, you can call the police or rescue services or I don't know what they have on boats."

"It's all cool, I trust you. Are they your age? What are their names? Where are you going with them?" Your cousin asked. You shot them a quick look. "Alright, just be back okay?"

"Will do," you told them and you walked outside. You used your memory from the first time you were walking around to get to the restaurant that Rapunzel told you about. You waited out by the entrance for a while until you spotted them. They were all wearing different outfits so it was clear that the change was a good choice. You all walked in together and were guided to a table.

Rapunzel was looking at the way the napkins were folded while Eugene was looking at himself in the reflection of....a spoon? Cass was focused on all of the other people there. You weren't sure if you should say something or stay silent so you chilled out and sighed. Then you all ordered and after you ate people were actually talking.

"This food looks so good I could just paint it." You looked confused, them noticing your confusion Varian decided to explain.

"Rapunzel enjoys painting and all forms of arts, really." You nodded and you took your spoon and had a sip of your soup, that still seemed pretty hot.

"How's everyone's meals?" Eugene asked the whole crew.

"Still very warm here." You told him.

"I am really enjoying it," Rapunzel said.

"I bet dessert will be even better," Cassandra added.

"Maybe we should look at the dessert menu," Eugene said, grabbing a small booklet from the center of the table.

"Hey, maybe one dish at a time?" Varian said.

"Just trying to be prepared," Eugene said. He took a bite of his food to take people's attention off of him. Just like that everyone was silent for a while, while you all at your semi-warm food.

After you finished you dinner the only one who had room for desert was Eugene, but you all ordered a smaller dessert portion to not make him feel bad for being the only one eating. It's what good friends did, so you could tell that these people had good character. Once you left you found out that the theatre was actually closed to you went to one of the large balconies where you could see the sunset.

"When I took this trip with my cousin I didn't think that I'd meet anyone. Or anyone as kind as all of you guys. Plus, this place is so incredible." You said.

"It is isn't it." Rapunzel said, the bright oranges of the sunset lighting up her face.

You shivered a little bit, your outfit had really short sleeves. Varian noticed and pulled you closer. You shyly smiled, you didn't know how to feel. He seemed vaguely familiar, but you just met. You decided to let it go and just enjoy your time, but maybe, just maybe you were starting to become more than friends.
