BECAUSE I NEED MORE MOON VARIAN AND I REALIZED THAT I HAVEN'T DONE ANYTHING WITH THIS AU, even though it is extremely spectacular. someone will go back to 38 and be like WHAT ABOUT THIS ONE, but that was barely anything. yOU hAVEN'T sEEN mY fULL cAPABILITIES...now i warn you...this will be my full capabilities.

"BE careful," Rapunzel warned the group. The moon was full tonight and there was no telling was capabilities a certain person could tonight. Rapunzel, Eugene, Cass and you were all trying to make it to the Dark Kingdom once again, she had a plan to do with the moonstone, a way to take down Varian.

You hadn't seen Varian, but you decided to come along. After all Eugene mentioned to Cass that you were a pretty strong fighter and could handle the situation that approached you. Equipped with only a sword, you were wearing a short sleeved shirt but it was getting cold outside. Rapunzel handed you her pink cape that she had brought with the group. You took it and continued to walk.

"How far should we be going before we stop for the night?" Cassandra asked.

"Not too long, but I sense something following us." Rapunzel answered. You felt it as well, as if eyes were waiting on all of you. Something lurking in the shadows, waiting to creep up on all of you.

As if it was on command, rocks barricaded you into a circle of field. "Rapunzel?" You asked, getting your sword out for a fight.

"He's here." She confirmed.

Out of the shadows came Varian you assumed, but he was just a teenager. He had light teal hair that was blowing slightly in the cool night air. He had pale blue eyes like moonlight and a thin smile on his lips. "Nice to see you here, princess." He said, using one of the rocks to push her off balance. Eugene ran after her, but Varian grew rocks to hold his hand to the ground. You were the closest to Rapunzel, using your sword you swung it near him.

"So, you want to fight with weapons, I suppose I can do that." He swung out a large black rock crafted sword. It met with your sword, he pressed down upon the metal claymore and you let go and dodged out of the way.

"This is Varian?" You asked Rapunzel. "Why are the evil ones always attractive?"

Attractive? Varian didn't know what the word had done to him. He wasn't normally one to receive compliments like that. Whatever happened it made his heart beat largely inside his chest. He couldn't let that distract him, he was so close to getting the revenge, the catharsis he needed for his dad.

He used the rocks to his advantage, making slopes to bounce off and make large sword strikes, but you noticed something. Varian became predictable. He had a pattern. You used the pattern to lead Varian to the hold that he had on Eugene, making Varian break it. Eugene was now free. "Hey, kid." He said, using his longsword to block all of Varian's attacks.

While he was distracted you noticed Cassandra helping Rapunzel, they were getting ready to set something up. Eugene and you keep him distracted, then he pushed the brunet away. Determined to keep him distracted you used the black rock steps that he had made before to get height. "I must admit you are pretty good for your age." He said.

"Thank you, but it's none of your business."

"Who taught you?" He asked.

"What did I just SAY!" You said, pushing all your strength into your blade. Except he deflected it away using his sending both of your swords flying out of the ring of black rocks. You didn't know what to do now.

Rapunzel and Cassandra joined in and Rapunzel found a way to tie him up with the ends of her hair. "That seemed way to easy." The blonde said.

"Looks like you all forgot one thing." He said, using his hand to throw one of his alchemical bubbles. "I have alchemy on my side." Creating a huge mass of light that you couldn't see in, he must have undone the trap of Rapunzel's hair. "I'll be back for you, especially you sweetie."
