      SINGING was only one of the many things that you enjoyed with the holidays. There was the snow and there were also friends and family. When you added friends to the singing aspect and got caroling, it just became so much better.

    Tonight you were going to rally up, Rapunzel, Eugene, Varian, and Lance, yes Lance, he would practically beg you to come caroling.

     You got a scarf, boots, a hat, and a bunch of booklets with lyrics just in case anyone forgot some of the lyrics. When you found the group at the park that you all were going to meet up at you gave Raps a hug because she found out that Cassandra was going to be out of town for the season.

     "I don't need a hug, but thanks anyway (Y/n)," she said as you continued to hug her.

     "Where's my hug?" Varian asked and you went up and squeezed him.

     "Okay, are we actually going to go to some houses? I want to sing!" Lance said, opening his book of carols. You smiled and you took out your booklet as well. You had everyone follow Lance as you walked to your first home.

      It was a bit difficult for everyone to get up and sing because the first house on the road Lance had brought everyone to was Stalyan's. Rapunzel didn't like her that much and it was strange for Eugene to see his ex-fiancé.

     The second house wasn't much better either, as you sang to Monty. Monty was another person that not everyone really likes either. He was a little bit too rough around the edges for anyone to get to know him well.

     "Are there any good people on this street?" Eugene asked. Rapunzel looked at Eugene sympathetically, feeling the same emotion but not saying anything. Varian wondered if the whole night was going to be like this.

      "It's not about the people you sing to, it's about the people you sing with," you told everyone. The magic of the holidays filling you with inspiration quotes at the right time.

      "That's very motivating," Lance said and he continued on the path that he was on. He took steps towards the next house and everyone crossed their fingers hoping that they would get a good surprise. The door opened very slowly to reveal that it was Stan and Pete!

      "What are you doing here?" Pete asked.

      "Yeah, it's cold outside," Stan added.

      "We're carolling." you said.

      "I don't have any money," Stan said.

     "That's fine carolling doesn't involve money," you said.

     "We'll take change." Lance and Eugene said. Rapunzel nudged Eugene in the side and Lance saw it happen and instantly went quiet as well. You sang to the two of them and your heart just filled with joy. It was a sense of family just singing with everyone that you knew well there. It felt like home.

     "Thank you," Pete said.

     "You're welcome," Rapunzel answered and everyone took back to the streets again. You continued to sing to every house seeing all sorts of different faces.

     Catalina and Kiera. Vex and Captain Quaid. Hook Hand and Hook Foot. Shorty and his goat, they didn't have a house but you sang to him anyway. Even Xavier and Old Lady Crowley were there.

      You looked at the progress that you had all made, and the night sky. It was dark and snowing and it was absolutely beautiful. "Anyone else think that we should wrap it up tonight?"

      "One more house," Lance said. You gave him a look which made him think that he wasn't going to get what he wanted. "Please?"

      "Okay, one more house." you allowed. Making Lance really happy and everyone else smiling at his happiness.
