"THE best part of the holidays is the gift wrapping," Varian said. As you wrapped a headband for Rapunzel you would bed to differ. You tried to wrap the pieces of paper together but it didn't work. Frustrated, you ripped up the extremely folded wrapping paper and set it down on the table. "Which was a joke. I was joking. Haha."

"Yes, it was very funny," you said not really meaning it. "How about you try wrapping this headband?"

"Or I could put it into a box and then try wrapping the box," he said, handing you a box to put the headband in.

"How did I not see that?" you said, and then you wrapped the present with no problem.

"That's why gift bags were invented, and also why you never really see a triangular wrapped gift," he said.

"That would make a lot more sense than what I was doing. I was never taught how to wrap presents and I'm not a child anymore. I guess I was just a little bit too busy binging Christmas films and writing letters to Santa." you said and then you remembered that you hadn't written a letter to Santa yet.

You got out a card and a red gel pen because it was what you always used to write to Santa. "What is all that for? I thought you were wrapping gifts." Varian asked as you began to write.

"I just forgot to write a letter to Santa this year and there's only like two more weeks until Christmas," you said.

"You have got to be kidding me. You still write letters to Santa?" he asked.

"Yeah, do you have a problem with that?" you wondered as you blew the gel on the card dry.

"Um, it's just, don't you already know that Santa isn't...y'know," Varian asked.

"That he's usually on vacation and the elves read the letters. Yeah, I know. I just want everyone in the North Pole to know that I still care no matter how old I get." you said as you finished writing your letter.

"You-, you are very cute," Varian said but you didn't hear him because you went into another room to look for a sticker to put on the back of the envelope. There were reindeers, birds, and snowflake stickers and you weren't sure which one you wanted to put on.

"I'm sorry did you say something?" you asked when you came back.

"Um, yes. I mean, no I didn't say anything," he said and you went back to wrapping gifts. Then there was a knock at the door and you went to see who it was. It turns out that it was Rapunzel and Eugene.

"What are you two coming by for?" you asked as you held a wrapped gift in your hand.

"We don't have any wrapping paper because someone forgot to go out and get it," Rapunzel said.

"So we can throw like a wrapping gifts party?" Varian asked.

"Yeah, somewhat like that," Eugene said.

Rapunzel brought a bunch of gifts in from her car and set them down on the table where you had three rolls of wrapping paper done. "How about a gift-wrap-off?" Rapunzel asked holding a tube of wrapping paper.

"It's on," you said and then you each got five gifts that you were going to wrap. You started a timer and then everyone quickly got to cutting and folding the wrapping paper around the gift. You added a bow and then one of yours was done. You quickly cut, folded, and taped down another one as fast as you could. Varian was done three and then you stopped the timer because you were done.

   "Okay, you won," Rapunzel said.

"Uh-uh. Best two out of three." Eugene said, getting ready to start another round.

You set down two gifts and you said, "Speed round."

"And that's how Eugene and Varian wrapped themselves with wrapping paper and Rapunzel and I had to unstick a bunch of bows from our hair." you shared with Lance and Cass.

"I would have loved to see that," Cass said.

"Who knew that wrapping gifts could be so dangerous?" Lance said. Everyone was now worried that he wouldn't go near wrapping paper again.

"That was a good time," Rapunzel said.

"It was really fun." Varian said, "Besides getting wrapped part.

"It really hurt to unstick all of those bows as well," you said wincing remembering the pain of sticking them.

"Let's hope that this Christmas is a little bit lighter on the wrapping gifts," Rapunzel said, and everyone smiled and nodded in agreement.
