frozen heart

ICY spikes jetted out of the ground in all directions, you backed away in surprise. You never wanted this to happen, you just wanted to understand why he was shutting you out for all these years. You couldn't take a step closer, but it was too late, he had rushed off into the night. You carefully made your way around the ice and found Varian running away.

  "Varian!" you called out into the night, "Come back!" You watched as the river transformed into slippery ice. You never intended for this to happen, but you were going to go after him, you knew that he was the only person who could stop this winter. You were smart enough to get some winter gear on and you rode out on a horse up to the North Mountain.

  You were on a mission, but you ran into a little bit of trouble on the ice. You horse slid across the sheets of slippery ice and you almost ran into two strangers. "Sorry!" you exclaimed.

  "Is it your first time out of the kingdom?" a dark-haired person asked. She had bright green eyes and she seemed very kind and welcoming.

  "Is it that obvious?"

  "Yeah." the person who was with her told you. He was bundled in winter gear and you could tell that he would rather be inside next to a warm fire. "Why are you out here anyway?" he questioned.

  "I'm heading to the top of the North Mountain, my friend, Varian, has frozen the fjord and started some sort of eternal winter," you told them as you not so carefully dismounted from your horse.

  "Varian?" the kind-eyed girl asked you.

  "Yeah, he apparently has snow powers, and I have to stop him before all the kingdom is snow and ice." you looked at the two of them.

   "We will help you find him." she offered you.

   "What?" the other person asked her, they were clearly against the idea of helping you.

   "We know the mountains better than anyone else," she whispered to him. "Plus, it's for a royal, and we need to get on a good side with them after what you did." (oooh what did he do??)

   "Okay fine," he said.

   "Follow us, we can take you to our sled. This is going to be so much fun!" she jumped with excitement.

   "I didn't catch your names," you said.

   "Rapunzel, and that's Eugene," she told you and she led you through the snow to get to where they had parked a large sleigh with a reindeer. "This is Max, short for Maximus." (Max is a reindeer is this)

   You put everything into the sleigh and begin to get going, the snow began to fall harder now and you weren't sure if you were going to be able to see past the white sheets that were being created right before your eyes. It was a long and hard journey to the top. There were wolves, sharp icicles, and a talking snowman, yet you persisted. Determined to reach the top of the castle you tried to climb a rock wall without any gear, all of the members in your party thought it was a horrible idea but you did it anyway and failed.

   "There's a staircase!" the snowman called out. You looked down in disbelief, you decided to jump off and the two of them caught you.

   "Woah, that was like a crazy trust exercise!" Rapunzel said after she put you down. The two of them followed you to the castle of ice and you left Maximus at the bottom of the stairs.

   "Just stay here, okay?" the two of them looked at you confused. "I have to talk to him on my own first. Maybe wait for a minute."

   "Okay." the snowman said, sitting down. "One, two, three..." they began to count the minute down. You walked inside, taking a deep breath and careful steps.

    "Varian?"

    "(Y/n)."

    "Isn't it amazing! I finally can be who I am, not hiding my powers and you can go back home and rule over the kingdom."

    "I'm not in the royal family though," you said, "and I wouldn't be able to go back, not until you help me, you see....the kingdom...is kind of in an eternal winter."

   Varian looked at you shocked. "What do you mean? I left, everyone should be safe, safe from me."

   "Well, there's a terrible winter storm and you're the only one who can fix it." you pleaded to him. Then the other three came into the room. (Guys start counting when Olaf begins counting and you'll reach sixty seconds, a minute when he comes in. Anna told him to wait outside for a minute and he actually waited for an exact minute.)

   "Who are these people?" Varian asked.

   "We're here to help (Y/n) find you so we can put an end to the winter," Eugene explained.

   "Why did you bring people here?" Varian asked you couldn't say anything. "Are you scared of what I can do?"

   You looked at him a bit hurt, "That's not why without their help I wouldn't have gotten here."

   "Why did you come?" he said, angrily and sadly to you, he began to walk away.

   "Varian, don't leave. We need your help," you said following him. I need your help.

   "You're only here because you were sent here by the kingdom, you only want my help so the winter will end, but here's the thing, I don't know how to reverse it," Varian said.

   "But if you would just come back-"

   "I'm not going to be scared anymore, I'm going to stay here."

   "I need your help! The winter has to end! I can't go back until you help me fix this!" you pleaded, there was no way that he couldn't see what you were feeling. You were hopeful that he was going to come back and help you but he just seemed so blinded by his own fear that he couldn't see that you believed in him.

   "Just go!" Varian said at the top of the tower, you had stepped up the stairs to catch up to him and you were beginning to believe that this plan of yours wasn't going to work out like you thought it would.

   "Please help me, I know that you can reverse the storm."

   "But what if I can't. Go, before I hurt you," he said and you went to go closer.

   "I'm not leaving until you agree to come with me," you told him and went a little bit closer. There was a spiral of snow swirling within the tower and it seemed to pick up as Varian's fear rose.

   "Yes, you are," he said and then he accidentally struck you with a blast from his powers. Eugene and Rapunzel rushed in as you fell. You didn't know what happened, but you knew that your heart suddenly felt cold and it was pounding stronger than you've ever felt it before.

   "Come on, we should go," Rapunzel said, and they helped you to your feet.

Honestly, my sincerest apologies for taking a break......wait

.....man lol, I just realized how crazy I am.

I have a lot of things to talk about,

Number 1: Anyway, sorry about that little break it just means that I'm going to be behind on a lot of prompts that I have created with the help of some people. I really wished that I didn't have to take those couple days off but I had to binge Umbrella Academy for a friend and then I was too busy reading on here that I forgot that I had stuff to go and write. True story.

Number 2: Enjoy your Novembers!!! Frozen II is coming out soon and please write it in Roman numerals because that's the true title.

Number 3: Are we doing a TTS rp? It would make me extremely happy, lol.
