YOU awoke somewhere very snowy, more than Corona. The sounds of someone singing filled the air but you weren't sure what they were from. "Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer, had a very shiny nose, and if you ever saw it. You would even say it glows." the voice sang.
The person neared and you then realized that it wasn't a person but a man-made of snow. A snowman? Singing and talking? He wore a vest and a top hat. He had a merry look upon his face and a cane.
You weren't sure where you were but you weren't worried about that right now. You wanted to know where Varian was. "Excuse me? Snowman? My friends missing and I'm wondering if you know where he went."
"He has disappeared?" the snowman stopped.
"Yes," you said. The snowman blinked not really responding. Maybe he wanted to know more. "He's around 5'3, dark hair, he's wearing a big blue coat." Adorable eyes, you thought but didn't add.
"Nope!" The snowman replied then continued to sing, "All of the other reindeer, used to laugh and call him names, they never let poor Rudolph, join in any reindeer games."
You followed the snowman closer to a village where you saw Varian by a tree. "There you are!" He said, "Are you okay?"
"I'm fine." You told him. You turned to the snowman, "Who is this Rudolph you speak of?"
"That would be the small baby born in a village years ago. He's quite a small fella, but cute and hadn't quite outgrown his youth." The snowman said. It was clear that he was fond of the reindeer he spoke of.
"Is there any leader in this village?" Varian asked, "We're lost and have no clue how to get back home."
"Try Santa Claus. He's a jolly old soul with plenty of wisdom." The snowman answered and then rolled away before you could ask him anything else.
You began to walk towards what you thought was the village. "Where are you going?" Varian asked you.
"I'm going to see Santa." You said.
"What about this place?" He asked.
"What about this place?" You asked with less expression. It wasn't where you had to be. It wasn't where you were trying to get to.
"The book brought us here, maybe we're supposed to enjoy it!" He remarked on the scene. "Sleigh bells ring, are you listening?"
"Oh please." You were through with the happiness of the season and were kind of becoming a scrooge because you were trying to get to Opprinnelse.
"In the lane, snow is glistening, a beautiful sight, we're happy tonight,
Walking in a winter wonderland." You continued walking into but you saw a glowing red light.
"Gone away is the bluebird,Here to stay is a new bird. He sings a love song, as we go along, walking in a winter wonderland." He sang but you walked away into the woods following the light. He didn't follow you because he didn't see where you were going.
"In the meadow, we can build a snowman, then pretend that he is-" He cut himself off because he no longer saw where you went. "(Y/n)? (Y/n)!"
He followed you in the woods but you were too deep inside them now for him to catch up to you. You were following the light wondering where it would lead you. You felt some sort of connection to it. A feeling of being different. You kept walking until the light brought you around a pine tree and you bumped into something.
"Sorry!" The being called out.
"A reindeer? I don't suppose you're Rudolph?" you asked.
"How did you know?" The reindeer's voice was squeaky and soft.
"Um, lucky guess." You said, "I'm looking for an island of ice. Do you happen to know where that is?"
"Yes! The land of misfits!" The reindeer said, "I'd say hop on but I'm quite small and I don't think I could carry you."
"That's alright. Let's go!"
