winter adventure pt. 4

YOU RODE BACK to the island of Else, and when you got there you saw everyone waiting on the shore for you. The people seemed excited to see you coming back, you wondered if they knew if you survived the journey or not. You disembarked from the water spirit and you saw your favourite boy run up to you.

   "You came back!" He said while hugging you. "I was so worried. I came here and they said that you were gone and I-I tried to follow you and-" He said through tears. You were happy to see him again and almost began to cry yourself. There was an unexplainable emotion coming with seeing him again and you weren't sure what it was.

   "I'm back." You said, releasing from the hug. Rudolph came up to the water horse and made acquaintances.

   "Yeah, and you're so...snowy." He said. "But it's not a bad look. I mean it's, um, it's-" He stuttered and you smiled. There were just sometimes when he was too cute for words.

   "Are you ready to go back?" You asked him. With your new powers you could realm hop, and it would help you get back home to Corona.

    "Where?" He asked.

    "Corona!" You said.

    "How?" He asked. You summoned a bunch of lake water and frozen it into a door. All you needed was to open the door and you'd be back home. "That's so cool! You're awesome!"

    The leader of Else came up to you, "I always knew that you would find your potential, (Y/n). I didn't want to reveal it before because I was nervous but, you're my child, (Y/n). I'm your mother, and my name is Elsa."

    "Elsa? Mother?" You said, but then she gave you a hug and you knew that you were home. There was something about her embrace that you remembered everything from the past again. Those memories that you had within you were all coming back.

    "You must go back." She told you. "It has been a honour to see you all grown up. You remind me of myself when I was younger. I had to take the same journey, and I had to do it all by myself. I'm not ready to say goodbye again."

     "You don't have too!" You assured her. "You could come back with me and we could be a family."

     She smiled at you, but it was very faint and sad, "My duty is to protect the people here. I know that you'll be fine by yourself and I approve of your friend. I will always care about you, (Y/n), no matter where you are." She took your hand and you nodded. Tears were beginning to form in your eyes and she backed a couple of steps away from you and nudged to the door.

     Turning, you faced Varian and he opened the door for you to walk back to Corona. "I can't believe your mother is the ruler of a magical ice island in another dimension. That's like triple amazing."

     "Yeah, I guess so." You told him.

     "Don't feel down. She's not your only family." He told you.

     "Yeah, she kind of is." You replied.

     "What about everyone here? You've lived with my father and me for years and don't forget Raps, Flynn, Lance. We're all your family, and we're here for you."

      You looked at him, you were in front of the palace, back in Corona finally. You realized he was right, these people were your family, and Else was your second family. You looked at his pale blue eyes and you felt that feeling again. This time it had a name, it was love. Love was what kept your whole family connected even when you were apart. Love was why you were brought back to Varian even when you had both lost your way. Love was why you were standing here in front of him right now.
