It’s been two days since the last time AJ and Jake talked about the South Korea project. AJ was restless as he could not get a good chance to tell Celestine about his trip to South Korea. He knows how busy his girlfriend is because she already started working on the mall project.
And since most of Celestine’s inputs in the design came from him, he wanted to be there on the first few weeks of the project. But, he is schedule to leave the following week and it adds up to his anxiety because next week, they will be celebrating their 11th month together.
“It’s late, why are you still here?” Jake asked
“Pauwi na rin po ako Papa. I am just waiting for the additional information that I need from Angela for the South Korea project.” AJ replied.
“Are you ready to invade South Korea?” Jake asked.
“Honestly Papa, excited ako sa project na ito. Sana makuha natin yung deal.” AJ said.
“I am hoping on that too, AJ. And I am excited for you on this project. I am confident na makukuha natin ang project na ‘to because if they don’t believe in us, they will not invite us to submit our proposal.” Jake uttered.
“I claim na makukuha natin ‘to, Pa.” AJ replied.
“I’m sorry if I cannot join you on this trip and you have to leave alone.” Jake said.
“It’s alright, Papa. I’ll take care of everything.” AJ said.
“I know I can count on you, AJ. Marami pang darating na ganyan kapag ikaw na ang nakaupong presidente. That is why you should look for a wife who is as understanding as your Mom and your Mama Ninang para wala masyadong away.” Jake said.
“I will keep that in mind, Pa.” AJ said.
“Isama mo na lang kaya si Angela sa South Korea.” Jake suggested.
“No need for that, Pa. Kaya ko na ‘tong mag-isa.” AJ replied.
“Mas mabuti pang mag-isa kesa may magalit?” Jake kidded.
“It is not that, Pa. Kaya ko naman talagang mag-isa para sa trip na ‘to.” AJ replied.
“That’s good and it seems your special girl is an understanding one.” Jake commented.
“She definitely is, Pa.” AJ said.
“Do I know her?” Jake asked.
“Yes Pa, you know her. But it is not yet time for me to introduce her to all of you.” AJ said.
“Therefore, kelan mo sya ipapakilala sa amin?” Jake asked.
“You will meet her when she is ready, Pa. Ipapakilala ko sya sa inyo nila Dad.” AJ replied.
“I hope it will be very soon. I am excited to meet the girl who inspires you and obviously she is not a distraction. I think I will like her.” Jake said.
“You will love her, Pa.” AJ said.
“I don’t think so, hindi ako pwedeng ma-in love sa special girl mo, selosa ang Mama Ninang mo eh.” Jake said and they both laugh.
