10 - Monthsary

Celestine gently pushed AJ to catch her breath as she did not know how long that kiss lasted.  “Happy Monthsary, Babe.” She sweetly said.

“Grabe tinalo nitong surprise mo ang lahat ng surprises ko sa iyo in the past.” AJ commented and gave Celestine a tight hug.  “Happy monthsary, Celestine Faulkerson. Thank you for the eleven months of love and happiness.” He greeted.

“You’re welcome.” Celestine replied, smiling.

“Paano ka nakatakas sa Daddy at Mommy mo?” AJ asked.

“I attended a convention in Beijing earlier and I told Dad that I will have a side trip to Korea to breathe.  He thought I will be watching a motocross event.” Celestine replied.

“Is there really a motocross event?” AJ asked.

“There is none, only a monthsary event.” Celestine replied, chuckling.

“Grabe ka sa Daddy mo. What will you do if he finds out that you are lying?” AJ asked.

“I did not lie to him.  It was him who assumed about the motocross event.  I did not confirm it.  I told him I want a breather because of several issues I encountered in the last weeks.” Celestine said.

“Why did you choose Korea as the breather?” AJ asked again.

“I want us to celebrate our monthsary together.  Hindi ako papayag na hindi tayo magkasama sa monthsary natin.  We have been doing this for ten months already, kaya hindi ako sanay na hindi tayo magkasama kapag monthsary natin.” Celestine said.

“Alam mo ba, ang sama na ng loob ko kasi wala akong nakuhang reply from you sa monthsary greetings ko kaninang umaga.” AJ lamented.

“How about ngayon, masama pa rin ba ang loob mo?” Celestine asked.

“It’s all gone with the wind.  Like what I have said earlier, tinalo ng surprise mo ang lahat ng surprises ko in the past ten months.” AJ said.

“I miss you so much, Babe.” Celestine said.

“I miss you more.” AJ replied and abruptly planted another kiss on Celestine.  “Until when are you staying in Korea?” he asked.

“I have to return to Manila on Saturday, therefore we only have tonight until tomorrow to be together.  Then after tomorrow more than a week na muna tayong LDR.” Celestine said.

“You are staying only until on Saturday? That is less than 48 hours, Babe” AJ asked.

“I know but we cannot be choosy.  Mabuti nga pinayagan pa ako ni Dad na mag-out of the country despite the workload I have right now.” Celestine said.

“We still have few hours to celebrate, where do you want to go?” AJ asked.

“I am sot tired to go out.  Dito na lang tayo.  Ano ba ang dinner mo?” Celestine asked.

“I just ordered chicken and pizza for dinner.  But since I got a very sweet surprise, I’ll prepare a special dinner for us.” AJ said.

“Hmmmm … I wonder what that special dinner would be.” Celestine said.

“Nothing fancy, just chicken, pizza and one hot Korean noodles.” AJ said.

“Grabe sa special dinner ha, yung Korean noodles lang pala ang may effort.” Celestine complained.

“Yung effort ang magdadala.” AJ replied laughing.  Then he again pulls Celestine towards him for a tight hug.  “You don’t know how much you made me happy.  Thank you very much for the surprise, Babe.” He sincerely said.
