13 - LDR

After spending the weekend with her family, Celestine went back to staying in her condo unit where she and AJ can freely talk to each other via video chat.

"You don't look good. Are you sick?" AJ asked as soon as he sees Celestine on the screen.

"I am not feeling well. I think I will catch a cold, may slight fever na ako." Celestine replied.

"Bakit naman ngayon ka pa nagkasakit kung kelan malayo ako. How will I take care of you?" AJ worriedly asked. "Umuwi ka na lang muna kaya para may mag-alaga sa iyo." He suggested.

"No need for that, uminom naman na ako nga gamot. I'll be fine later kapag nag-effect na yung gamot. Sobrang stress lang 'to sa work." Celestine replied. "I'll hit the bed after our talk." She further said.

"Go and hit the bed now, bukas na lang tayo mag-usap." AJ said.

"Ayoko, Babe." Celestine objected. "Hindi mo ba ako nami-miss?" She asked.

"I miss you, Babe. You have no idea how much I want to fly back to Manila right now knowing that you are sick." AJ said.

"Yan ang wag mong gagawin. Never leave your work unfinish just because I am sick." Celestine said.

"And why not? You are far most important than my work." AJ said.

"If you leave your work unfinished, baka pabalikin ka ni President Jake dyan sa Korea. Eh di another LDR na naman yun." Celestine replied. "This is the longest two weeks of my life. I miss you so much, Babe. I want you to hurry home pero dapat tapos ang work mo para hindi ka na pabalikin dyan." She further explained.

"Likewise, Babe." AJ said. "Pero ibang usapan kung may sakit ka. Alam ba ni Mommy na may sakit ka?" He uttered.

"I did not tell her, pipilitin lang nya akong umuwi. I'll be fine, Babe. Papahinga lang ako. If I stay with them, hindi na kita makakausap katulad ng ganito. And I don't like that." Celestine said.

"Higa ka na, dun na lang tayo sa bed mag-usap. I will stay with you until mag-effect yung gamot mo. Mag-off line na lang ako kapag nakatulog ka na." AJ said.

"I still need to do my night rituals." Celestine said.

"Hanggang sa banyo sasamahan kita while you do your night rituals." AJ said.

"Siraulo 'tong asawa ko." Celestine commented, smiling widely.

"Sira na talaga ulo ng asawa mo kasi sobra ka na nyang nami-miss. Kaya sana kahit man lang panoorin kang maligo, para makabawas man lang ng pagkamiss ko sa yo." AJ said.

"How's your work?" Celestine asked.

"Iniiba mo ang usapan." AJ commented.

"Eh kasi naman, ang harot mo." Celestine said. "O sige na nga, I'll bring my laptop sa bathroom para makapag-usap pa rin tayo while I do my rituals." She said then took her towel and walks to her bathroom with her laptop.

"Don't tell me maliligo ka talaga. You said may lagnat ka, hindi ka pwedeng maligo, Babe." AJ said.

"Just a quick shower and warm lang naman not the usual cold water." Celestine said.

"Ang tigas ng ulo mo Mrs. Garcia." AJ said.

"Ayokong matulog nang mabaho ako." Celestine said in a loud voice then puts her laptop near the lavatory before she gets in to take a quick shower.

"At sino naman ang may sabing mabaho ka? Ikaw ang pinakamabangong babae na nakilala ko. Lahat ng parte na katawan mo mabango." AJ said.

"Shut up, at baka kung saan-saan na mapunta ang usapan na ito." Celestine said, blushing. "Magkwento ka na lang about your work there. Malapit ka na bang matapos dyan sa assignment mo? You better do it fast, Babe. I will not forgive you if you stay there more than two weeks." She asked.
