Celestine heard someone opens the door and she smiles as she is actually expecting him to leave the party as soon as he learns that she already left. She knows AJ is somewhat disturbed at the sudden show up of Jericho.
"You did not tell me you are leaving immediately." AJ uttered and she felt his kiss on top of her head. "Parang biglang ka namang napaso. You did not even give my brother a chance to dance with you. He was so upset when he learned that you already left. Inaway nya tuloy si Hailey kasi hinayaan ka raw makaalis." He further said and sat beside Celestine on the couch.
"I will just text Hailey and I will ask her to apologize to Ben in my behalf. Ayoko na kasi talagang magtagal sa party eh. Let's just say that I don't want to give Jericho a chance to talk to me. Did you hear what he said earlier? Ang kapal ng mukha nya, as if he did not cheat on me." Celestine said.
"I heard that, mabuti na lang nakapagpigil ako, sasapakin ko sana eh. But I don't want to make a scene to give respect to my parents. Event nila yun eh, ayokong mang-agaw ng eksena." AJ said and grab Celestine's and started showering it with small kisses.
"Ang liit talaga ng mundo eh. Who would have thought that our paths will cross again?" Celestine said.
"How are you?" AJ asked.
"What to you mean?" Celestine asked.
"Kamusta yang puso mo pagkatapos mong makita ang love of your life?" AJ kidded and he gained a sharp stare from Celestine.
"I hope you are not serious when you said that." Celestine uttered.
"Mukha ba akong seryoso? Nagbibiro lang ako, Babe." AJ said then he wraps his arms around Celestine and started to shower her with kisses again. "But honestly, kamusta ang muli nyong paghaharap ng ex-boyfriend mo?" He asked.
"I was actually asking myself, why did I ever fall in love with that jerk? He was claiming to be happily married and yet nagpapalipad hangin sa akin." Celestine uttered.
"But honestly, Babe, natuwa ako when Hailey told me na umalis ka na. I also feel that is the right thing to do." AJ said. "He is one disrespectful jerk. Dun sa sinabi nya, hindi lang ikaw ang binastos nya, pati na rin ang asawa nya." He added.
"It is just sad that jerks like him really exist. Hay naku, bakit kasi nauna kong nakilala ang mokong na yun kesa sa iyo? Eh di sana hindi nangyari yung mga ganap noon." Celestine said.
"You were so in love with him then, hindi tuloy ako makalapit sa iyo sa school. Nagkakasya na lang ako na tingnan ka from afar." AJ said.
"And I hate you kasi hindi ka nagkalakas ng loob na lumapit sa akin." Celestine said.
"How can I do that kung laging nakadikit sa iyo ang boyfriend mo." AJ said.
"But I want to thank you for staying with me." Celestine said. "Kung hindi pa ako naaksidente hindi ko pa malalaman na mahal mo ko." She added.
"I still remember how scared I was habang nasa ambulansya tayo. You were unconscious at parang hindi ka na magigising." AJ said.
"Why were you scared?" Celestine asked.
"Akala ko hindi ko na masasabi sa iyo na mahal kita." AJ replied.
"At yan ang dahilan kaya ka nag-monologue sa ospital yung naka-confine pa ako." Celestine said. "Pasalamat ka hindi ka narinig ni Daddy." She added.
"At least nasabi ko sa iyo." AJ said.
"Pero sinabi mo nung tulog ako." Celestine added.
"Maang-maangan ka pa na tulog ka that time." AJ said.
"Tulog naman talaga ako, nagising lang ako kasi ang ingay mo eh. Hindi ko nga alam kung gaano yung monologue mo. Mabuti na lang narinig ko yung dapat kong marinig." Celestine said.
"Pero hindi mo pinansin yung confession ko kasi busy ka sa paghihintay kay Jericho na dalawin ka." AJ said.
"Can we stop talking about him? He is not worth to be talked about." Celestine said.
"Okay lang yun, ang importante nalaman mo kung anong klaseng lalaki si Jericho." AJ said.
"Why don't I want to hear even the name of the jerk? I am glad that you are not like those jerks." Celestine said.
"That will not happen, my Dad keeps on reminding about respecting every woman that I meet, regardless if they are too hard to handle. Sabi nya, he does not want anyone to disrespect my Mom and Grace Ann." AJ said.
"That's what my Dad keeps on telling Ethan and Edmond. Lagi nyang bilin na wag daw syang gagayahin ng kambal." Celestine said. "Anyway, how was your business discussion with Jericho?" Celestine asked.
"It was brief, but we will have another meeting next week. Pinagbigyan ko na para hindi na ako kulitin ni Papa." AJ replied.
"What is your take, do you think it will be a good deal?" Celestine asked.
"Medyo maraming demands eh, hindi ko pa alam kung saan papunta yung next meeting naming but I honestly hope that it will not push through para wala na kaming encounter." AJ said.
"I wonder how my Dad will react kapag sinabi ko sa kanya na nagkita kami ni Jericho sa party ng GHS. Siguradong uusok ang ilong nun, and worst bigla akong pabalikin sa bahay namin to make sure na mababantayan nya ako kay Jericho." Celestine said.
"Then might as well not tell him, baka mapabalik ka sa bahay nyo, paano na ako?" AJ asked.
"I honestly planned of telling him but I changed my mind." Celestine replied.
"What made you change your mind?" AJ asked.
"Natakot din ako mapabalik sa bahay namin." Celestine replied and they both laugh.
"Naisip ko lang, hindi pa ba talaga natin pwedeng sabihin sa kanila? I mean, you will sit as FCC President in a few months. Dream come true na tayo, Babe. There will be no more reason to keep this relationship a secret." AJ said.
"As long I don't have the appointment in my hand, I will remain as FCC's Head of Sales Department. Pwedeng one day, biglang pumalpak ang hawak kong account, therefore Dad will have second thoughts on entrusting me the FCC presidency." Celestine said.
"I can't believe you have that kind of thought. There goes your pessimistic side again." AJ said.
"Less expectation, less disappointment." Celestine said.
"Ikaw na nga ang bahala." AJ said.
"Thank you, Babe." Celestine said and she tightly hugs AJ. "Give me another six month after I assume the presidency to work on our collaboration project then pwede na nating sabihin sa pamilya natin ang tungkol sa atin." She further said.
"So in less than one year pwede ka nang magstop magpa-inject?" AJ asked.
"Yes, pero sure ka ba, Babe? Don't you want us to enjoy each other muna before tayong magka-baby?" Celestine asked.
"We can always have time and enjoy each other kahit may baby na tayo." AJ said.
"Okay pero malinaw na after the collaboration project ang baby ha." Celestine said.
"Of course, Babe, we will do it according to plan." AJ replied.
