AJ is a bit agitated while driving going to the place where is Dad and FCC Chairman will meet. This is the first time his Dad and Celestine Dad will meet for a discussion that he has no idea. "Who invited who?" is the question that keeps on running in his mind. To clear his mind and relax a bit he decided to check on Celestine.
"Hello, Babe." He heard Celestine said from the other line. "Let me guess? You got stuck up in traffic and you call me to help you think of a what to tell your Dad because late ka na sa meeting nyo." Celestine further said.
"You are correct, I got stuck up in traffic but I'm sure my Dad is in the same situation, too. therefore there is not need for me to explain." AJ replied.
"Then why did you call when we agreed to talk later after your meeting with your Dad and his colleague." Celestine asked.
"I missed you!" AJ declared. "Ang hirap ng mag-isa lang dito sa kotse kapag traffic, wala man lang akong maka-usap." He said. "Are you leaving for work now?" He then asked.
"Not yet, mag breakfast muna ako before ako pumasok." Celestine said.
"Baka mapagalitan ka ng Daddy mo kung paghihintayin mo na naman sya." AJ said.
"Sabi ni Mommy, my Dad already left. Hindi naman binanggit kung bakit maaga syang umalis." Celestine replied.
"Then the more you have to hurry, nakakahiya sa FCC chairman kung mauuna pa syang pumasok kesa sa presidente ng kompanya." AJ commented.
"Between the two of us, ikaw ang dapat magmadali. Hang up now, Babe, para pareho na tayong makapag-trabaho. I'll just talk to you later. Babay na, I love you!" Celestine said and immediately hangs up without waiting for AJ's reply.
If they are to talk about business, Celestine, being FCC President should be joining them. If it is not about business, it only means that the discussion will be on a personal level. Now he gets more nervous at his talk with Celestine's Dad and his Dad. He is hoping that the discussion will be not about him and Celestine breaking up again. If his hunch is correct, does it mean that Celestine's Dad has not accepted him?
His Dad arrived ahead of him and RJ has not arrived yet, "Technically I am not late, Dad." AJ said.
"Pasalamat ka sa sobrang traffic." Andrew said. "Siguradong na-traffic din si RJ kaya hanggang ngayon wala pa sya." He added
"Baka naman pwedeng magkape habang hinihintay natin si Chairman RJ. Hindi ako nakapagkape sa bahay kasi minamadali mo ko, Dad" AJ said.
"Don't blame me, hindi naman biglaan ang meeting na ito eh." Andrew said.
"May atraso ka pala sa akin, Dad. You did not tell that we are having a meeting with Celestine's Dad today." AJ lamented.
"May difference ba kung sabihin ko man sa iyo o hindi?" Andrew asked.
"Of course, Dad. Specially if you will tell me what this meeting is all about." AJ said.
"Actually, this talk is only for RJ and I." Andrew said.
"So what am I doing here?" AJ asked.
"Moral support." Andrew said, smiling naughtily and he gains a sharp stare from AJ. "Ang dami mo kasing tanong. Be patient, son. Naubos na ba ng mga recent events ang patience mo?" He asked.
"Is this a business meeting or a personal one, Dad?" AJ continued asking.
"I said patience, Son. This is a business meeting. Is that what you want to hear?" Andrew asked back.
