36 - Tonight is the Night

Celestine stays in their house while she waits for AJ's arrival from Malaysia. As expected, Maine is the happiest as she can spend more time with their daughter Celestine.

But for two days that Celestine stays in their house, her eldest child prefers to stay in her room. Maine admits missing the old Celestine where their day will not end without even a few minutes of chatting with each other. Since the announcement of her father-in-law's retirement Celestine became busier at work to prove that she deserve to replace RJ as FCC's President.

On Celestine's third day with them, Maine decided to prepare a special breakfast for her family since it is a weekend and not everyone is in fast phase to attend to their individual errands plus the fact that her family is complete because of Celestine. Champorado with dried fish is Celestine's favorite breakfast since she was a little girl and the twins have adopted it too. She is very excited to prepare their breakfast when suddenly she saw Celestine at the lanai.

"You are up early, anak." Maine said then her eyes widen seeing what Celestine is eating early morning. "Celestine, baka naman sumakit ang tyan mo. Ang aga namang mangga at bagoong nyan." She commented.

Celestine got shocked hearing her Mom commented "Mommy, I thought you are still asleep." She said.

"I decided to cook your favorite breakfast." Maine replied. "Pero paano ka kakain ng champorado kung manggang hilaw at bagoong ang una mong kinakain ngayong umaga." She asked.

"Uy, I miss your champorado, Mommy." Celestine replied.

"Eh paano mo nga kakainin yung champorado kung inuna mo pang mag-manggang hilaw for breakfast." Maine said and Celestine chooses not to comment anymore as she does not know how she will explain her cravings. "Mana ka nga sa akin. Nung dalaga ako, ganyan din ako, kumakain ng manggang hilaw sa umaga kapag malapit na ang monthly period ko." Maine uttered.

"Syempre mana ako sa iyo, Mommy kita eh." Celestine said.

"And that reminds me, anak. Nagpalit ka ba ng brand ng sanitary napkin? Napansin ko lang na parang hindi nabawasan yung stock mo ng sanitary napkin." Maine asked which makes Celestine chokes a little. "Are you all right? Dahan-dahan kasi ang pagkain, anak." She said.

"Ok lang po ako, Mommy." Celestine said.

"Good morning beautiful ladies." They heard RJ greeted.

"Good morning, Dad." Celestine greeted her Dad back.

RJ frowns upon seeing what Celestine is eating. "Ang aga namang mangga at bagoong nyan." He commented.

"Hayaan mo na sya, mukhang malapit na ang monthly period eh kaya nag-crave sa maasim." Maine said.

"Parang ikaw lang noon, before mo ipanganak yung kambal." RJ commented. "Kung hindi ko alam na ganyang-ganyan ang Mommy mo noon, iisipin ko na naglilihi ka, Celestine" RJ uttered which makes Celestine choked again.

"Sinabi na kasing dahan-dahan lang eh, nguyain mo kasi para hindi babara sa lalamunan mo yang kinakain mo." Maine commented. "Napansin ko lang, Celestine. Natutulog ka ba? Bakit parang maputla ka pa rin hanggang ngayon? And it is very evident that you are loosing weight." She further said.

"Parang hindi ko naman ramdam that I am loosing weight, Mommy." Celestine replied.

"Love, baka naman sobra-sobra mong pagtrabahuhin itong si Celestine. Di bale nang hind imaging president ang anak ko, basta sigurado akong hindi sya magkakasakit." Maine started to reprimand RJ.
