38 - Coarser Road

AJ refuses to believe on what he hears from the resident doctor. Celestine and he are so excited for their baby. They have started to build plans for their supposed first child. He even started designing their dream house where he planned to have ten bedrooms since him and Celestine dreams of having a big family.

"Sir, ma'am, I'm sorry that you learned about Celestine's condition this way. I was in Malaysia when we learned about her pregnancy. We decided to tell you the truth as soon as I comeback but this happens." AJ uttered.

"Saan ka kumuha ng kapal ng mukha para sabihin mong asawa mo ang anak ko?" RJ asked.

"Sir, Celestine and I got married in Korea a few months ago." AJ said.

"I don't believe you. I will only believe on Celestine." RJ said.

"And I suggest not talking about it this time. Let's focus on Celestine please." Maine said. "AJ, I hope you understand, but what is happening right now is not easy for us. Please let's talk about it kapag okay na si Celestine. It would be better if you leave now." She further said.

"I'm sorry, ma'am. I believe I should stay here for my wife and make sure that she is safe. Please also understand na ako po ang nawalan ng anak, hindi po kayo. Gusto ko pong masiguro na walang mangyayaring masama sa asawa ko." AJ uttered.

"Stop saying that my daughter is your wife." RJ exclaimed.

"I'm just telling the truth, sir."AJ firmly replied.

"AJ please, kung tutoo ang sinasabi mo, siguradong hahanapin ka ni Celestine kapag okay na sya. But you are not welcome to stay here now and wait for any development on our daughter." Maine said.

"I'm sorry, ma'am. I am not going anywhere afar from my wife." AJ said.

"I said stop saying that Celestine is your wife." RJ said and throws a strong punch at AJ.

"Hurt me as much as you want, Sir. But I am not leaving until I am sure that Celestine is out of danger." AJ firmly said.

"Love, please calm down and don't make a scene here." Maine said.

"Dad, Mom, can we just let him stay? Only Ate can confirm if this guy is telling the truth. For now let's just give him the benefit of the doubt. As long as he doesn't intervene with your decision about Ate, I don't see anything wrong if he stays." Ethan suggested.

"I don't want to see your face here when I come back." RJ uttered and walks out.

"Love, saan ka pupunta?" Maine asked.

"Sa lugar kung saan malayo sa mga sinungaling." RJ exclaimed.

Maine is just a few steps away following RJ when the nurse came out of the operating room and gave instruction. "Ma'am you need to coordinate with the hospital blood bank. Medyo marami pong dugo ang nawala sa anak nyo at kailangan pong masalinan sya agad ng dugo sabi ni Dra. Sanchez."

"Ako na lang po ang pupunta sa blood bank." AJ said.

"You heard my son earlier, AJ. You should not intervene on everything that concerns my daughter." Maine said and AJ could not do anything but to just stay. "Ethan, ako na lang muna dito. Coordinate with the hospital blood bank kung may available silang blood for your sister." She told Ethan which the latter immediate abide.

A few minutes later, Ethan came back with a bad news. "Mommy, walang available na blood type AB- ang hospital. I asked them if I can donate blood to Ate, pero hindi raw ako pwedeng donor kasi Type B+ ang blood type ko."
