Third Person

An explosion echoed through a train station and killed one man.

A man in Tennessee was mauled to death by a mountain lion.

A woman cosplaying as a pirate was victim to a terrorist attack.

A stressed single mother of two died saving her children from a fire.

Two men in the navy drowned.

A man was killed by a snake.

A man was stretched to death in a taffy maker at his work.

A man was shoved off the top of a building, falling to his death.

Two men were killed via electrocution after falling into water.

A man misjudged how far to be away from a TnT explosion, the doctors giving him the wrong remedy in an attempt to save him.

A woman ranger was murdered in her bunker.

A man was killed by a spider hiding on a mango.

"There were 20 to 30 deaths in total that all happened on the same second, same hour, same day, same year.

We can not name all of them here, to many victims, that is.

This is a story about the oddest case I've been involved with.

The victims became my friends over time.

They became part of a class of people that we call 'Undead'-"

"Erm... sir? Can you stop narrating and tell me what happened?"

A man started in surprise before calming down "I forgot you were there, be patient young author."

The teenager, with his hair in a man bun fidgeted on his seat "Sir I'm not an author... I just heard you had some good stories while walking around in the village sir."

There was a silence.

"Are you going to make me leave sir?"

The man leaned back in his seat "No son, I won't. Don't call me sir, call me TFC, alright?"

"Yes sir-I mean-That's good sir-I mean- Ugh! Okay, my name is Gilbert, but my friends call me Gil sir."

TFC sighed, rubbing his eyes. This was going to be a long night.

Gilbert suddenly said gloomily "If I had any friends that is. I just spend all day doodling blueprints."

TFC looked at Gilbert straight in the eye "A oddity then?" Gil nodded nervously. "Yes sir-I mean-"

TFC cut Gil off "I know some people you would get along with. They hang out on the mountain; they are all about your age. A kid named Xefora assembled them. Why don't you go and hang out with them?"

Gilbert stated "Sir yes sir!" and scampered off.

TFC watched as he left, lighting a cigarette. It seemed that the undead where back.

He should explain. The undead where a group of induvials who were repeatably resurrected without them knowing until about 20ish. He was one of them, there was currently only 27 known to him.

This Gilbert was obvious (To him) One of that group. In his original life, his name was Grian Xephor. The architect was shoved off a building by a jealous coworker. TFC had been investigating the case and found a baby abandoned in a garbage can nearby.

He adopted the kid. And he turned out to be Grian resurrected.

'Gilbert' was Grian's fourth life it seemed.

The boy had the most dramatic deaths so far, ironically. The rest of them had only had old age deaths, Grians mostly consisted of homicide and lack of oxygen.

TFC was the oldest resurrect, a steady holder of 11 lives.

They where a cluttered group, sure. But they did their best to protect eachother.

And that was all that mattered

I dove into this with no plot, no idea of what would happen, no plan

It actually turned out pretty good.

Peace out folks. Nighty night. (For me. ITS LATE)
