Todoroki POV

Did I hear that correctly. "Did you sa-"

"Hisashi Midoriya." Izuku replied again.

I was... I didn't really know how to feel about that.

"But isn't he, like, your family?"

He looked over at me giving me a small smile.

"He was my father. He was a really caring one as well. That all ended when I got my quirk though. You would know him as the previous number four hero."

"Salamander!?" I was shocked. "Wait why would he stop loving you when he found out about your quirk?"

"It's simple." He replied. "When we found out about repel, he thought it was a really weak quirk. He hated me for it. He would always say how it was impossible for a human shield to be his own hero. That I would be lucky simply getting into a hero school with this." He looked down at his fist. I just realized he had clenched it tight.

"Then the other one showed."

"The other one? You mean another quirk?" I asked.

He looked at me then turned away.

"I'll tell you about that later. We've been here for almost an hour already, we'll miss out train."

I nodded and jogged up to him, katsuki and neito close behind.

Timeskip to the day of the USJ,

Nobody POV

"Ok so let me get this straight." Izuku stated.

"You want me, all might, aizawa, and midnight to go in there and what?"

Nezu who was also there, took a small sip of his tea before answering. "According to the files you gave us of the league of villains plans we learned that they were conducting an attack on the USJ while class 1A was being taught there. I want the four of you to intercept them and once the battle is over considering the state of the USJ we will continue to have the rescue training practice."

"Why do you want me to go as well though." Izuku Asked, again.

"Because of your time as a vigilante, we assumed that since you know so much about the league of villains, that you might have been hunting him for a while, and also because of your quirk we aren't particularly worried about you. I'm sorry if that comes off as hash in any way."

"No, no your assumptions are right. Besides it wouldn't really matter what you say about my quirk, that's just how it works so naturally I find myself not having to worry about getting into a fight."

"Good, now, we need to get you four as well as thirteen to the USJ before class 1A gets there with present mic." Nezu took another sip of his tea before looking around again looking a little aggravated. "Well what are you staying here for!? GO GO GO!"

Small timeskip

Izuku POV

We arrived at the USJ and entered it. I Asked midnight to check the time, we decided to push back the time the students would be arriving by an hour so we could finish up with the villains and maybe clean up afterwards. Midnight turned to us telling us the time.

"Good." I said. "That means there is only a couple more minutes until the villains should be appearing."

As if on cue, a purple-ish mist started appearing at the central plaza. The mist suddenly expanding as villains started coming out.
