Shortly after Tsuyu's teacher had left, you called everyone to the table for breakfast. Tsuyu noticed most of the table had been set already, with the only missing item being the food.
As Satsuki and Samidare hyperly chatted in their seats, Tsuyu moved to help you with the pancakes. Just as they'd requested, Satsuki got six, Samidare got five, and Tsuyu had one. Tsuyu noticed you only had one, though she didn't question it. Maybe you knew her siblings wouldn't eat all of their food, or maybe you just weren't very hungry.
Once everyone was sat down, you noticed that this meal was much different than last nights. The children only chatted amongst each other, leaving you and Tsuyu to talk.
"So what did Shouta need to talk to you about?"
"He was wondering if you wanted to share a dorm with me." Tsuyu looked up at your wide eyes.
"What-um, what did you say?"
"I said I'm fine with that as long as you are. So, do you want to room with me?" You audibly gulped. Tsuyu was awesome, and you would love to, but your insecurities also got the best of you.
"I-I don't want to bother yo-you." Your head hung almost immediately, surprising Tsu.
"You wouldn't bother me, really! In all honesty, I think it would be fun, kero."
"But, my nightmares! Not to mention if the league comes for me again then you'll be in danger too!" Tsuyu giggled a little.
"(Y/N), the league has been captured."
"What?"
"Todoroki froze them all solid when we saved you so the police could get them easily, kero." She gave you a quick smile, munching on more pancake.
"But still, I don't want to wake you up every night because of a nightmare. That would be cruel of me!" Tsuyu grabbed your hand, effectively gathering you attention
"(Y/N), I'd prefer you wake me up so I can help you. Remember your therapist? I meant it when I said I would help you through this."
"Are you sure?" Tsuyu nodded, making you smile a bit. "Alright, then I suppose it's fine." Tsuyu held back from fist pumping the air, making you giggle a bit.
As it turned out, Satsuki and Samidare only ate three of their pancakes. That left five for you and Tsu to finish. By the time you had, you almost didn't want to move. It was the most breakfast you'd eaten in a while, to be fair.
Still, you forced yourself to get up. Tsuyu was coming over to your house with you so that she could help you pack for the dorms. You figured she knew what you'd need better than you, so you agreed to it. You also made sure to stop and get eggs on the way home, remembering what your sister had said yesterday.
Once you'd reached your home, you stuck your pointer finger to your lips, telling Tsuyu to be quiet. She nodded, giving you the okay to open the front door.
Noise erupted from the doorway, startling Tsuyu. She wasn't expecting it to be so loud inside after you'd warned her to be quiet.
You led her down a hallway, careful to avoid the room that your siblings were in. She watched as you stopped by a fridge to put the eggs away, then took the shopping list off the fridge again to check it. You wouldn't be back until next week at the earliest, wouldn't someone else get groceries by then?
Ignoring her questioning looks, you led her back down the hallway to your room. You opened the door quietly, making sure you made little to no noise. Tsuyu still didn't understand why, given how loud the rest of the household was.
Once the door was closed, you let out a loud sigh of relief. Tsu took the chance to look around, noticing just how organized your room really was.
There was some padding on the walls, probably so nobody could hear what happened inside, along with a corner with a beanbag chair and what appeared to be a small guitar. Posters hung on parts of the walls that weren't padded, showing your interest in certain shows and bands.
Your bed sat in the corner opposite of the beanbag, with a pastel (f/c) comforter and three small plushies. The dresser next to your bed held many figurines, seashells, and pictures. Everything in the room was meticulously placed, leaving very little that wasn't in order.
Across from your bed, on the wall connected to your door, Tsuyu spotted your desk. There were pencils scattered everywhere, papers scattered about, and a ruler somehow sticking out of a crack between the wall and the desk. Above it, hanging on the wall, were many blueprints for projects you had yet to build. Tsu took notice that this was the only place in the room that wasn't clean and neat.
As Tsuyu continued to analyze your room, you flopped down on your bed. As quickly as you'd laid down, you snatched one of the plushies laying on your bed with you.
"And who might that me, kero?" Tsuyu smirked as you clutched the strange animal to your chest. You huffed a little, burying your face in the stuffed bear.
"His name is Monokuma." Tsuyu only nodded, letting your head plop back down onto the bed. Your intense glare at the ceiling led to Tsuyu look up, only to find many pictures of a character staring down.
"(Y/N), what the hell is on the ceiling?" You giggled a bit as Tsuyu laid next to you.
"It's my council of Komaeda's! They help me make important decisions. I talk through a problem with them, and then I decide what to do based on what their 'reactions' are. It doesn't make much sense if you're not there." You smiled sheepishly, pointing to the ceiling. "Thats Nagithot, that one's Komaeda without his wig, then there's normal Komaeda, and Komaeda with Pikachu, and Komaeda with Hinata, and then Slave Komaeda from Despair girls, you get the gist."
"Did you... print these all out?" You nodded, your sheepish smile growing. "How long did it take you to do this, kero?"
"About an hour. But it was worth it, because it helps a lot with everything going on up here." You gave her a genuine smile, poking your head to make your point. She nodded again, getting up.
"Well then, we'll make sure they all make it to our dorm safely." You sat up, a guilty expression on your face.
"I can't ask that of you! I mean, it's weird, and it would bother you to have a bunch of pictures of someone you don't know in your room!" Tsuyu chuckled a little.
"I don't mind, kero. Besides, he makes you happy, so I don't see anything weird about it." You gave her a quick hug before leaving quickly to get a ladder.
You both packed quickly, leaving barely anything behind. It was pretty easy though, considering most of your things were already in certain areas and everything in an area fit almost perfectly into a box.
You had a box for clothes, a box for art supplies, a box for trinkets and the Komaeda's, and a box for your music things. You both managed to leave quickly, and without alerting your siblings of your presence. Tsu figured out pretty quickly that you avoided your siblings unless absolutely necessary, which confused her a bit.
She couldn't imagine leaving her siblings like that. And you seemed to love her siblings, too, so why were yours different? How toxic was this household for you to be afraid of even letting your siblings know you were there?
