The next morning, Tsuyu made you go to school. You wanted to leave right away, but apparently that was against the rules. So, Tsuyu dragged you out of bed at six in the morning to take you to a hellhole while your friends were missing and quite possibly dead.

Fun.

She only wanted you to stay until lunch so you could explain what was happening to your teachers, but you couldn't just tell her that you had to skip school to find some dragons. As far as she knew, they didn't even exist.

So instead of getting yourself sent to a mental hospital, you came up with a convincing enough excuse to get away for a week. Sure, the time was limited, but you were prepared to find them at any means necessary.

By the time lunch had actually rolled around, you were bouncing around, anxious to get going. You didn't have long, it was way more important to you that you find Taka, Hiro, and Sayaka. You couldn't just leave them alone with whoever took them! That would be cruel.

You practically dragged Tsu out of school once you saw her. One second she was walking down the hall, the next she was being yoinked away by a very eager girl with rainbow hair. If Tsu wasn't laughing at you, it would've looked way worse than it was.

"(Y/N), slow down." She spoke through her laughs, trying to get some air. "I have to talk to one more person and then we can go, okay?" You groaned a bit, but nodded and let her take you to them.

"So who are you going to see?"

"My english teacher. If anyone will understand, it's him. " She looked over to you, intertwining her fingers with yours as she spoke. "On Monday, after you told us about Amalie, we left lunch to go to English. He overheard us talking about dragons and joined into the conversation. He told us that his favorite dragon was a nocturnal swallower, whichever one that is." You nodded, thinking it through.

"Is his name, by any chance, Hizashi Yamada?"

"That's his name, yeah. How'd you know?" You froze up, shaking your head. "Hey, what's wrong?"

"I can't see him. He'll yell, and I hate yelling, but he's too loud! Mom and Dad said we should trust him but he's scary when he yells and I don't like it. His boyfriend is way more calm, that's why I didn't freak out when he came over to your house. Tsu, I can't be near him." You were basically begging her, watching her think.

"(Y/N), I love you, and I want to protect you. I'd never do anything to hurt you. It's only Present Mic, you'll be fine, I swear." You nodded slowly, knowing you were walking to your inevitable doom the second you stood up. Really though, you had to find the triplets, so stalling was out of the question.

"Alright. Let's go then." You grabbed hold of her hand, now leading the way. She was surprised, to say the least. One second you're groveling, the next you're leading her down the halls and directly to the office you were begging not to go to.

"Is this it?" You asked, snapping her out of her daze as she looked at the door.

"Yep. Present Mic should be in there." You nodded, taking a quick breath to prepare yourself before you flung the door open.

"Hizashi! We need to talk to you!" You yelled, louder than Tsu had ever heard you.

Wait.

"Hizashi?" She asked, turning to you as you let out another sigh. Not even a second later, Present Mic was hugging you to death, clinging to your side like a Koala.

"(Y/N)! Since when do you talk to me in school?" You could tell he was trying to talk quieter around you, which you appreciated greatly.

"Tsu told me we had to come here before we could go." He nodded, standing up a bit more so now he was clinging to your arm. He looked over at your girlfriend, only just noticing her.

"Oh, hello Asui. What's up?"

"You two know each other?" You nodded sadly, earning a small swat on the head from Hizashi. Tsu held back a laugh.

"Asui, meet my little sister, (Y/N)!" Hizashi yelled right in your ear, making you flinch. You shoved him off as he laughed, walking back to the froggish girl.

"Sister?!?" She screeched, earning another sigh from you.

"My parents adopted him when they were twenty, and he was ten. So yes, technically, meet my brother."

"But your names are different, kero!"

"Oh, that can be explained, actually." Hizashi said, finally getting off the ground. "Our parents let me keep my birth name, so I'm technically Hizashi Yamada-(L/N)." Tsu nodded, pretending to understand all of this.

"Wait, (Y/N) said something about a boyfriend. Who is he, kero? You never told the class you were dating someone!" Hizashi rubbed his neck as you turned to him. You gave him an evil smirk.

"Don't you dare."

"His boyfriend is Shouta! Hizashi loves Shouta, and Shouta loves Hizashi!" You yelled, pulled into a surprise hug from Hizashi as he twirled around.

"You little demon child!" You refused to freeze. Hizashi didn't know, he didn't mean to. "Asui is our student, she didn't need to know that (Y/N)!" You knew he wasn't actually mad, but you were also very bad at reading the tone of someone's voice. Half of your brain was telling you it was fine, the other half was telling you that he hated you.

Tears sprung from your eyes, hardly noticeable while you were being swung around by Hizashi. Tsuyu just barely noticed them, letting out an almost inaudible gasp.

"What? What's wrong?" Hizashi asked, stopping in his spot. In a split second, Tsu was by your side, helping you through your panic attack. Hizashi stared in awe as you calmed down within a few minutes.

"Are you okay now?" You nodded, letting Tsu stand up. "I'm sorry, panic attack and all, kero." Hizashi nodded, watching you with worry filling his eyes. "Anyways, we need to talk."

"Alright, what's up? Asking for her hand in marriage or something?" Tsu turned bright red, making Hizashi chuckle.

"No! That's not it at all, kero!" She cleared her throat, recollecting her thoughts. "We'll be gone until Monday of November fifth, but we might need a little help." Hizashi raised a brow, staring at Tsu.

"What are you planning on doing with my sister?"

"Nothing bad, I swear. These dragons went missing, their nest was a mess, there were scales on the rock and everything. (Y/N) won't rest until she finds them, not when Amalie misses them too." Hizashi nodded.

"Let me guess," He counted off on his fingers. "It was either Vik and Yuri, Beka and Oma, Borris, Hazel, and Ro, or Taka, Sayaka, and Hiro." Tsu nodded.

"It's the triplets, kero. I didn't realize you knew them." Hizashi let out a little chuckle.

"Everyone in our family knows them. Sam found them when he was young, they're basically distant cousins." Tsu nodded, ignoring how weird that sounded considering the fact that you hadn't met them until a couple days ago. It was Hizashi, after all.
