You fell asleep first, for once. Tsuyu let you get ready for bed first, and by the time she came back into the room you were passed out on the bed with Monokuma tightly in your arms.
Amalie was laying on a new perch you'd made her after you'd gotten back, using sticks that Tsuyu wasn't even aware were in the room. You'd also babbled on to her about how much you loved the desk and its contents, which surprised Tsuyu because she'd never actually checked it. For all she knew, there could've been a flamethrower in one of the drawers.
She took the opportunity to call your parents. You didn't have a lock on your phone, and she was only looking for their numbers, so no harm done. Still, she got a bit curious.
The first thing she looked up in your contacts was Tsu. But when that didn't show up under the search bar, she got confused. If it wasn't Tsu and it wasn't Tsuyu, then what could it be?
She was tempted to look through your actual messages, but that was an invasion of privacy. Surely she'd be able to find it herself, without doing that to your trust.
She set to scrolling through your contacts instead of looking them up, hoping she'd be able to tell when she saw it. Most names in your phone were actual names, aside from three contacts that were either nicknames or just really weird names that the frog couldn't recognize.
She looked between 'cuidado: a ella le gusta hacer estallar las cosas', 'meus carissima', and 'magnus frater', trying to figure out what they meant. She could tell that the first was spanish, but not what it meant. And for the other two, she had no clue what language it was. She only knew japanese and english after all, she was about to guess all night.
She sighed in defeat, deciding she'd just call your parents and ask you about it in the morning. With an air of defeat, she clicked the call button on your mothers contact.
"Hey (Y/N), I'm a little busy, be quick hon." An older voice rang into Tsuyu's ears, and she couldn't help but gulp a bit. She still hadn't even met them, maybe this wasn't a good idea.
"I'm sorry, I'm not (Y/N), kero." Silence surrounded the call for way too long.
"Why do you have her phone?" She didn't sound panicked over how you were, she sounded angry. Tsuyu didn't want to believe it was because she cared more about the phone than your wellbeing.
"She's asleep right now ma'am, I'm her soulmate. I was calling to let you know that she lost her memories of the last few months, but she's safe at the UA dorms with me and the rest of class 1A." More silence, and Tsuyu wished she could drown in it.
"What did she do this time?" Tsuyu looked at the phone in shock, trying to pull her thoughts together to answer.
"We asked her to help us capture a dangerous villain who'd been after her for a while, and she got hit in the crossfire. She'll recover though, and has already regained a good chunk of memories." She could hear your mom huffing on the other side as she stormed to what Tsuyu assumed was your dad's room.
"(D/N), guess what? She lost her memories of the last few months by getting in the way of an investigation. Should we head back?" The voices grew more muffled as your mother seemingly forgot about the call. Tsuyu could still hear them faintly blaming you for it, and she grew red in anger.
"Excuse me, excuse me!" She said, trying not to get too loud for fear of waking you up. After your mom grew silent, she took it that they were listening. "(Y/N) did not get in the way of an investigation. We asked her to come along, and if she hadn't there'd still be a dangerous man running around in the world killing hundreds of dragons and hurting even more people. If she hadn't helped us, the entire mission would've gone nowhere."
