Tsuyu nodded, still sort-of-glaring at your brother. "I'll tell her. But you'd better give a few other students time off to help us kero, they're her friends too." Hizashi nodded, smile coming back slightly.
"Alright, who were you thinking?"
"Jirou-san, Bakugou-san, and Kouda-san. Their quirks would be extremely helpful, and I believe they'll all help (Y/N)." Hizashi nodded, half expecting Tsu to walk away. To his surprise though, she kept talking. "Jirou can detect and amplify sounds easily, which means it's very unlikely that we'd have to find their base with pure luck, kero. Bakugou has past relationships with the league, and knows their fighting style and weaknesses pretty well. Kouda can speak to animals, and we can determine where the dragons went by asking them, kero."
"Alright. But, a fair warning, I'm pretty sure Enji wants to take Shouto along." Tsuyu sighed, rubbing her eyes.
"Todoroki-san will never agree, kero. He can't stand his father, and none of us blame him. He's a homophobic, abusive, and downright mean to everyone, kero. That bastard shouldn't be allowed to have children."
"... Oh. Well, that's news to me." Hizashi gave a nervous smile, rubbing his neck.
Exactly 12 minutes and thirty-two seconds away, you were sitting in a cafe, waiting for your coffee and looking through some of your old messages with Tsuyu.
You wanted to focus your attention on where the dragons might be, but your mind kept going back to your soulmate. No matter how hard you tried to stay on task, you couldn't help but think.
"It's been less than a month, right?" You mumbled to yourself, trying to figure out how long you'd been with her. That's another thing you struggled with, keeping dates straight in your head. "No, I think it's been two."
"Ma'am?" A short, blue haired waitress interrupted your thoughts. "Your coffee is done. The man over there bought you a muffin, too." She gestured to a table about ten feet from you, separated by other tables. Against your better judgement, you looked.
(E/C) eyes met striking blue ones. For a split second, you thought it was Shouto. Well, at least the Todoroki part was right.
A scarred man stared back at you. You froze, glossing over his now navy blue hair. His eyes had changed colors so slightly that it was hardly noticeable, and you hated that you saw it. The once bright, neon blue (and kinda green) had been replaced with a soft baby blue. He'd put on glasses, and his spiked hair had been tamed down. Thinking back, you realized he was probably wearing a wig.
"Ma'am?" The waitress broke you out of your trance, and you looked up at her with eyes full of horror.
"Call the police. That's Dabi, from the league of villains." The waitress stiffened, nodding almost robotically before walking away.
The second she was gone, Dabi was sitting across from you.
"Hiya (Y/N)! Nice to see you again, darling. How are you?" He rested his chin in his palm, staring at you so intensely that you hoped he wouldn't notice when the police showed up. Looking out for your best interest, you played along.
"Oh my god Touya, you'd never believe it. These poor baby dragons all went missing! I was so devastated!" You pretended to start to cry, noticing a slight smile on his features.
"Oh no, that's not good at all! How about we go find them after this?" You sniffled, nodding along. Every fiber of your being was telling you to freeze, avoid eye contact, and hope he leaves you. You refused to listen.
"Alright."
"So, how's everything been since I left?"
"Oh, same old, same old. Shouto is still as cold to me as always, but one day I'll get him to open up!" Dabi stiffened a little, so you elaborate a little more without seeming suspicious. "I just really wish he'd make some friends. I want to be one of them, but he's only let a few people in." Your voice was dying, but you just needed a little longer.
"I can't say I'm surprised. He didn't talk much after what mom did to him." You cocked your head to the side, a confused expression on your face. Dabi went bright red. "Anyways, tell me more about you. I don't actually know much since you didn't talk while you were with us." He gave you a nervous grin.
"Well, I have a soulmate, but I'm not gay so I won't stay with her for long. I have really bad anxiety and depression from Shigaraki, but you really helped me get through it during all of my panic attacks." He looked a little angry, but you didn't blame him. If one of your friends did that to Tsuyu, you'd go mental.
"You know, you could come with me. I'll keep them from hurting you again, and you can keep away from that frog!" He got excited, and a small plan formed in your head. Against your minds better judgment, you agreed.
"Alright! But I need to break up with Tsuyu before I can leave permanently. Would you mind taking me over there, and then letting me leave to break up with her so I could come back without looking suspicious?" His smile grew as he nodded aggressively.
"Of course! I can take you there right now!" He stood up quickly, and for some reason your eyes found their way out the window. You tried to act shocked and afraid.
"Touya, the police are here!" You hissed out, trying your hardest to keep your voice from dying. He froze a little as the doors slammed open. Officers rushed over to him, grabbing his arms and dragging him away.
"(Y/N)! West of the Summter Bridge! There's a swing!" He yelled out as he was dragged away from you. You huddled under the booth, covering your head and shaking.
A police officer helped you out of your hiding spot and offered you a ride back to the dorms. You nodded, knowing you wouldn't be able to make any noise for a few minutes.
The door to your room slammed open, startling Tsuyu. It was way before 3, nearly 1:30 in the afternoon. She half expected a villain to walk into the room.
You walked in, not making any noises. You stared at the floor, but walked with intense purpose as you gathered your things.
"(Y/N)? What happened?" You stopped for a split second, staring down at the clothes in your hand.
"I know where they are. Get packed, we need to go way before I thought we would."
